摘要:
Hair treatment products comprising in an aqueous phase a mixture of (a) water soluble procyanidins and (b) oil soluble free tocopherols, both components having an affinity to the hair, protect the hair against damage on heat drying, against environmental influences and hair treatments, and they protect other components of said hair treatment products against oxidation and degradation.

The present invention relates to the use of an extract from snow algae, especially an extract from Chlamydocapsa sp (snow algae) in cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical products. More particularly, the invention relates to Chlamydocapsa sp. (snow algae) in cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical products employed to guard against extrinsic aging of the skin caused by negative environmental exposure, for instance, UV radiation or air pollution, but also to guard against intrinsic aging of the skin as influenced by aging-specific gene expression levels. The invention relates furthermore to a method for producing extracts from snow algae, suitable for topic applications.
摘要:
A method for treatment of skin includes topical application of a composition containing a therapeutically effective amount of a 1,3-beta-glucan ether derivative. Such application effectively provides treatment and/or prophylaxis of various skin-related problems, such as neurodermatitis and psoriasis, and reduces the evidence of aging by minimizing wrinkles. In an advantageous embodiment, the glucan ether derivative is present in the composition in a range of concentration of about 0.002% to about 8% by weight. In another embodiment the glucan ether derivative is advantageously carboxymethyl glucan sodium salt.

The present invention relates to the use of dedifferentiated plant cells in cosmetic preparations for protecting of stem cells against intrinsic and extrinsic stress factors, in particular for promoting proliferation of stem cells and for protecting them against apoptosis. In particular, the invention relates to the use of dedifferentiated plant cells from fruits of Malus domestica (Apple) cultivar Uttwiler Spaetlauber. Further, the invention relates to a method for cultivating of dedifferentiated plant cells, as well as to the preparation of extracts of plant cell cultures which are suitable for such applications.

Methods for treatment of human skin damaged by laser treatment or chemical peelings, said method comprising topical application of a lamellar oil-in-water system, said lamellar oil-in-water system comprising at least one vegetable oil as the oily component and at least one hydrogenated phospholipid as emulsifier, said at least one hydrogenated phospholipid comprising not more than 10 percent by weight of negatively charged phospholipids the remainder being neutral phospholipids. Compositions useful in carrying out said methods are lamellar oil-in-water systems comprising at least one vegetable oil as the oily component and at least one hydrogenated phospholipid as emulsifier, said at least one hydrogenated phospholipid comprising not more than 10 percent by weight of negatively charged phospholipids the remainder being neutral phospholipids. Said lamellar oil-in-water system may further comprises sodium carboxymethyl β-glucan (Sodium Carboxymethyl Betaglucan) as a compound for improving wound healing and/or coenzyme Q10 as a compound for improving skin regeneration.

Methods for treatment of human skin damaged by laser treatment or chemical peelings comprise the topical application of an effective amount of a lamellar oil-in-water system. In accordance with the methods, the lamellar oil-in-water system comprises at least one vegetable oil as the oily component, a hydrogenated phospholipid as emulsifier comprising not more than 10 percent by weight of negatively charged phospholipids with the remainder being neutral phospholipids, and sodium carboxymethyl β-glucan (Sodium Carboxymethyl Betaglucan) as a compound for improving wound healing. The lamellar oil-in-water system used in the method may further comprise coenzyme Q10 as a compound for improving skin regeneration.
