Abstract:
A method for safely limiting the torque of a frequency-converter-fed three-phase motor operated under field-oriented control (controlled torque) is disclosed. Actual phase current values of the three-phase motor are used to calculate a sum current signal on two channels which is checked for a sum current value of zero. A rotor position angle is determined on the two channels, and torque-forming current components of the two orthogonal field-oriented current components of a stator current space vector are calculated on the two channels as a function of the measured phase currents and the rotor position angle. The three-phase motor is switched on the two channels without applying a torque if the sum value is not equal to zero and/or if the torque-forming current components calculated on the two channels are not equal. This produces a safety function “safe torque limiting” which can be integrated in commercially available frequency converters.
Abstract:
A machine having two machine parts, of which one is able to be rotated relative to the other, in which light signals are transferred from the one part to the other part. The light signals are transmitted radially to the axis of rotation of the rotatable machine part. In a first embodiment a plurality of light sources couple light into an optical waveguide ring which is coupled out over the entire outer circle of the optical waveguide ring so that it is guaranteed that light signals reach a receiver arranged radially outside in each case. In another embodiment light sources couple light into optical waveguide structures, with branches of the optical waveguides guaranteeing that on the outer circle of the one component the exit points for light are sufficiently dense that for any given angular position of the rotatable component at least one of two receivers receives a light signal.
Abstract:
There is described a method for monitoring a drive device for a defective sensor signal from a first sensor of the drive device and to a monitoring device which is suitable for this purpose. Although sensors operate reliably, sensor errors which may give rise to significant damage if they are not detected may arise. Monitoring the sensor makes it possible to increase the reliability of the drive device. The sensor signal from the first sensor is compared with a sensor signal from a second sensor in such a manner that the first sensor is monitored. In this case, the monitoring device is intended, in particular, for a sensor having a sensor disc.
Abstract:
There is described a roller drive and a roller transport device equipped with the roller drive. The roller drive comprises an electric machine and ends, wherein at least one end has a heat-conducting end contact face. The contact face is intended for coming into heat-conducting contact with a side cheek of the roller transport device. This allows the cooling to be improved. Furthermore, the roller drive can also be designed in such a way that it has a device for accommodating electrical components, wherein the device is intended as a torque support for the electric machine. A regulating device and/or a communication device can also be integrated into the device.
Abstract:
A low-wear sensor with little structural outlay to detect a combined linear and rotational movement, such as in a print roller (10). In one embodiment, a PLCD (Permanent Magnetic Linear contactless Displacement) sensor includes a magnet (5) which can be rotated about a longitudinally extended coil (2). A ring magnet is particularly suitable for this. The linear position of the ring magnet can be determined independently of its rotational movement (7) by means of the voltage induced in coils (3,4). Detection of the linear position is contactless and thus wear-free.
Abstract:
A drive controller for a self-commutated converter is described. The converter has two half-bridges, and the drive controller includes a corresponding control circuit for the converter valves of each half-bridge. Each control circuit can be connected via first switches to an external voltage. Each first switch is connected in parallel with a second switch, wherein the second switches are decoupled by way of decoupling diodes. The first and second switches can be alternatingly switched on and off. The switches can therefore be cyclically tested without interrupting service.
Abstract:
A drive controller for a self-commutated converter having two half-bridges with converter valves, includes two control circuits, with each control circuit associated with a corresponding half-bridge and operatively connected with the converter valves of that half-bridge, and at least two switches, wherein an input of each switch is directly or indirectly connected to an external voltage, and an output of each switch is directly or indirectly connected to a pulse-inhibiting path. Further provided are at least two pulse-inhibiting controllers, wherein each switch receives control signals from a corresponding one of the pulse-inhibiting controllers. Arranged in the pulse-inhibiting path is a buffer unit for briefly maintaining a supply voltage of the control circuits if a pulse-inhibiting path electrically disconnects at least one of the control circuits from the external voltage. Thus, the drive controller, and more particularly its pulse-inhibiting paths, can be tested cyclically without interrupting the operation of the drive controller.
Abstract:
A drive system for an electric motor includes a connection for a battery, and an inverter having an input side connected to an intermediate circuit and an output side having a connection for an electric motor. The intermediate circuit includes a first thyristor connected in parallel with an intermediate circuit capacitance. The drive system may also include a rectifier having an input side connected at the output side of the inverter in parallel with the electric motor, and a second thyristor connected an output side of the rectifier. The first/second thyristor are configured to be activated by a monitor incorporated in or assigned to the drive system. In the event of a malfunction, the input and/or output side of the inverter can be electrically isolated to allow a multiply redundant armature short circuit.

A controller (2) dynamically decides based on the current operating state (Z) thereof whether and optionally which actions it associates with secure input elements (4) of a user interface (3). When a user (9) actuates one of the secure input elements (4), the controller (2) brings about the actuation of the machine (1) in accordance with the action currently associated with the actuated secure input element (4).
