摘要: A non-bussed control module that receives an audio code is provided. The non-bussed control module includes a tone processing module, a self-diagnostic module, and a reporting module. The tone processing module receives the audio code, and sends a trigger signal if the audio code is received. The self-diagnostic module performs a self-diagnostic test for the non-bussed control module if the trigger signal is received, and generates a diagnostic signal indicative of the self-diagnostic test. The reporting module receives the diagnostic signal and determines a type of fault based on the diagnostic signal.

摘要: A vibration reduction assembly includes a mass and an actuator. The mass is configured to be attached to a rear plate or a frame of a speaker in a manner that allows the mass to move along a longitudinal axis of a pole of the rear plate. The mass is sized to yield a force that is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction relative to a force generated by moving components in the speaker and acoustic pressure of the speaker. In one example, the actuator is configured to move the mass in phase with movement of a voice coil of the speaker along the longitudinal axis of the pole and in an opposite direction than the voice coil movement. In another example, the actuator is configured to move the mass out of phase with the voice coil movement and in the same direction as the voice coil movement.

A method for controlling the powertrain system includes determining a vehicle speed, and determining a preferred audible sound to be generated by the powertrain system when operating in the electric vehicle mode at the vehicle speed. A control signal for the power inverter is determined, and is associated with operating the powertrain system in the electric vehicle mode at the vehicle speed. The preferred audible sound is incorporated into the control signal for the power inverter, and the power inverter is controlled to operate the electric machine employing the control signal and the preferred audible sound.

The occupant module receives at least one occupant signal indicative of occupants currently located within the vehicle, and determines a current number and location of occupants in the vehicle based on the occupant signal. The vehicle system module receives as input the current number of occupants located in the vehicle. The vehicle system module is configured for determining whether the current number of occupants located in the vehicle is less than a total number of occupants the vehicle is configured to seat. The vehicles system module is configured for adjusting the at least one operating output of the system if the current number of occupants located in the vehicle is less than the total number of occupants the vehicle is configured to seat.

摘要: A system of a vehicle includes: a camera configured to capture images within a predetermined field of view at least one of: in front, behind, and beside the vehicle; a license plate module configured to determine license plate information of a license plate attached to another vehicle; an event module configured to: based on at least one of the images, determine whether the other vehicle performed a predetermined type of driving maneuver; and generate an indicator in response to the other vehicle performing the predetermined type of driving maneuver; a reporting module configured to, in response to the generation of the indicator, generate a report including: the license plate information of the license plate attached to the other vehicle; and the predetermined type of driving maneuver performed by the other vehicle; and a communication module configured to wirelessly transmit the report to a server via at least one antenna.
