摘要: A system to enable restricted area entrance, including a memory configured to include one or more executable instructions; a controller configured to execute the executable instructions; a vehicle including a vehicle controls device, the vehicle configured to communicate with the controller, the vehicle controls device configured to command the vehicle to autonomously perform rideshare task(s); and the executable instructions enable the controller to receive vehicle reservation information from a mobile computing device; generate first and second vehicle identification aspects from the received vehicle reservation information, where the first and second vehicle identification aspects can be compared and, when the first and second vehicle identification aspects are determined to correspond via the comparison, an access operator can operate an access gate to enable restricted area entrance; and communicate the first vehicle identification aspect to the vehicle and the second vehicle identification aspect to the access operator.

摘要: A method of controlling a vehicle having an automated driving system configured to control a vehicle subsystem includes determining an autonomous actuation event for the vehicle subsystem. The method additionally includes detecting a presence of a vehicle occupant. The method also includes, in response to an anticipated change in vehicle dynamics based on the determined actuation event and to the detected presence of the vehicle occupant, providing a notification to the occupant before initiation of the actuation event. The method further includes generating an actuation command based on the actuation event and controlling the vehicle subsystem according to the actuation command via the automated driving system.

摘要: A non-bussed control module that receives an audio code is provided. The non-bussed control module includes a tone processing module, a self-diagnostic module, and a reporting module. The tone processing module receives the audio code, and sends a trigger signal if the audio code is received. The self-diagnostic module performs a self-diagnostic test for the non-bussed control module if the trigger signal is received, and generates a diagnostic signal indicative of the self-diagnostic test. The reporting module receives the diagnostic signal and determines a type of fault based on the diagnostic signal.

摘要: A vehicle system is provided that includes a sound augmentation system with a sound augmentation generator that produces an augmented audio output to drive at least one audio output based on a transfer function and a plurality of audio tuning parameters. The vehicle system also includes a sound augmentation system health monitor that compares a feedback of the augmented audio output to a level of at least one input relative to at least one environmental condition to determine a current performance level of the sound augmentation system. The sound augmentation system health monitor also determines a difference between the current performance level of the sound augmentation system and at least one performance threshold level, and initiates an alert upon determining that the difference is at a predetermined level.

摘要: A vehicle system is provided that includes a sound augmentation system with a sound augmentation generator that produces an augmented audio output to drive at least one audio output based on a transfer function. The vehicle system also includes a sound augmentation system health monitor that determines a current performance level of the sound augmentation system based on at least one audio input and a feedback of the augmented audio output, and triggers a transfer function update prompt based on a difference between the current performance level and an expected performance level being at a threshold level. A user interface outputs the transfer function update prompt and receives a transfer function calibration request in response to the transfer function update prompt. A transfer function calibration module drives a calibration sequence on at least one audio output and monitors at least one audio input to determine an updated transfer function.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for active noise control in a vehicle. The system includes a position sensor for sensing an occupant position. A microphone receives audible noise and generates an error signal corresponding to the audible noise. A first controller is configured to receive the error signal from the microphone and generate a modified error signal by modifying the error signal based on the occupant position with respect to the microphone. A second controller is in communication with the first controller and configured to generate an anti-noise signal based at least in part on the modified error signal. The system also includes a loudspeaker in communication with the second controller for receiving the anti-noise signal from the second controller and producing sound corresponding to the anti-noise signal to negate at least some of the audible noise.

The shaped band of sounds covers a range of frequencies around the tone to mask. The shaped band of sounds is applied to an audio output of the vehicle.

摘要: Road noise masking for a vehicle includes determining, by a computer processor, an expected interior sound associated with the vehicle. The expected interior sound is defined by a design of the vehicle in conjunction with road conditions encountered by the vehicle. The road noise masking also includes monitoring, via the computer processor, information sources of the vehicle during a driving event. Upon determining a current road surface from the monitoring, the road noise masking includes calculating a masking noise shape commensurate with the expected interior sound, and transmitting instructions including the masking noise shape to an audio system in the vehicle. The audio system produces masking noise from a tuner of the audio system that approximates the masking noise shape.
