Abstract: A heating circuit of a power battery is provided. The power battery includes a first battery core group and a second battery core group connected in series. The heating circuit includes an inverter, an alternating current motor, and a first controller. A neutral point of the alternating current motor is connected to a first connection point between the first battery core group and the second battery core group. The first controller is configured to input a driving signal to control the inverter to alternately connect the first battery core group to the alternating current motor and the second battery core group to the alternating current motor, to cause the first battery core group and the second battery core group to charge each other.

Abstract: An electrical vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft includes an electrical propulsion unit that has a propeller or a fan configured to be driven to rotate by an electric motor arranged to receive electrical power from an inverter. The inverter includes a carrier substrate, and a converter commutation cell including a power circuit. The power circuit includes at least one power semiconductor switching element. Each power semiconductor switching element is comprised in a power semiconductor prepackage. A heat sink is arranged to remove heat from the respective power semiconductor prepackage. The heat sink is spaced apart from the carrier substrate to define a heat sink gap between the carrier substrate and the heat sink. A converter parameter φ, which is defined as a size of the heat sink gap divided by a maximum electric field strength in the heat sink gap, is less than or equal to 20 nm2/V.

Abstract: Provided is a vehicle control system that appropriately performs synchronization control for a plurality of control systems. A monitoring circuit generates a command signal when only a first reset signal is input. The monitoring circuit generates a command signal when the state in which only the first reset signal is input is changed to the state in which the input of the first reset signal is stopped. With the command signal, a second clock signal is output to a timer generator as a second timing signal. With the command signal, the second clock signal generated by a second synchronization signal generating circuit is output to a first synchronization signal generating circuit, and a third clock signal generated by the first synchronization signal generating circuit is output to a timer generator as a first timing signal.

Abstract: An electric-motor-control system with current sensor offset correction includes three current-sensors and a controller. Each of the three current-sensors is used to detect current through one of three windings of a Y-connected motor. The controller is in communication with the three current-sensors. The controller records periodically measurements of sensed-current indicated by each current-sensor while variable-current flows through each of the three windings, determines an x-offset and a y-offset of a rotating-vector indicated by a plurality of the measurements, and determines an offset-current of each of the three current-sensors based on the x-offset and the y-offset.

Abstract: A vehicle includes an electric motor to move the vehicle. A motor driver is configured to convert direct-current power supplied from a voltage converter to an alternating-current power and to convert the alternating-current power supplied from the electric motor to direct-current power. Circuitry is configured to drive the electric motor with a first current value to generate a drive force to consume excess electric power. The first current value is different from a minimum current value to generate the same drive force. The circuitry is configured to drive the electric motor with a second current value smaller than the first current value to decrease the electric power consumption of the electric motor when a temperature of the electric motor exceeds a first threshold temperature or a temperature of the motor driver exceeds a second threshold temperature.

Abstract: Circuits, methods, and systems for driving a load are described. An exemplary driving circuit may include a plurality of switching devices and a controller electrically connected to the switching devices. The controller may be configured to receive a reference voltage signal indicating a target voltage for the driving circuit to generate to drive the load. The reference voltage signal may correspond to a reference space vector in a reference frame. The controller may also be configured to determine that the reference space vector falls within a holding region in which the reference voltage signal is subject to over-modulation. The controller may then generate an adjusted reference voltage signal by adjusting the reference space vector to match a predetermined space vector associated with the holding region. In addition, the controller may be configured to provide the adjusted reference voltage signal to the plurality of switching devices to drive the load.
