摘要: An antenna structure including a dual-band WiFi CPW antenna formed on a dielectric substrate and a frequency selective impedance surface formed on the substrate and at least partially surrounding the antenna. The antenna includes a ground plane defining a gap and an antenna radiating element including a radiating portion positioned proximate to the ground plane and a feed line extending into the gap. The frequency selective impedance surface can be a ring that is configured around the radiating portion of the radiating element, where the frequency selective impedance ring receives surface waves propagating along the dielectric substrate generated by the antenna.

摘要: A transparent pane assembly including a transparent pane, an antenna and an electromagnetic connector assembly. The transparent pane includes first and second layers made of a dielectric substrate, and the second layer includes opposite first and second faces. The antenna is disposed between the first and second layers, and is attached to the first face. The electromagnetic connector assembly includes a metal bonding pad, a coaxial connector, and a printed circuit board. The bonding pad is adhered to the second face and aligned to a feed portion of the antenna for electromagnetic coupling. The circuit board includes opposite first and second sides and an electrically conductive trace carried by the second side. The coaxial connector is electrically connected to the PCB at the second side, and the electrically conductive trace is in electrical contact with the metal bonding pad.

摘要: Technical solutions are described for facilitating intra-vehicle wireless communication among a plurality of electronic control units. An example method includes determining, by a first electronic control unit in a vehicle, a wait-time for a message, which is to be transmitted to a second electronic control unit in the vehicle via a wireless channel. The first electronic control unit executes a first availability-check, by determining availability of the wireless channel. In response to the first availability-check indicating that the wireless communication channel is available, the method includes delaying transmission of the message by the wait-time. The method also includes executing, by the first electronic control unit, after passage of the wait-time, a second availability-check. In response to the second availability-check indicating that the wireless communication channel is still available, the method includes transmitting the message for receipt by the second electronic control unit.

摘要: A method for generating and transmitting a reminder message includes obtaining a unique user profile. The user profile includes a user identification (ID) indicative of a unique user, an object ID indicative of a unique object, and a device ID indicative of a unique mobile device. The processor is configured to predict a spatial relationship between the user, the object, and the mobile device. The prediction is based, in part, on the user ID, the object ID, and the device ID, where the prediction includes a geographic location for the user, the object, and/or the mobile device. The processor compares a location of at least two of the user, the object and the mobile device with the prediction of the user's spatial relationship with the object and the mobile device. The processor transmits a reminder message when the prediction of the spatial relationship exceeds a predetermined threshold.
