The turbo vane has a plurality of turbo blades extending from a hollow, central turbo hub. The air compressor has a plurality of compressor blades extending from a hollow, central compressor hub. The hollow shaft is in fluid communication with the air compressor so as to communicate cool air from the air compressor to the turbo vane.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a turbocharger which reduces noise generated from the wastegate. The turbocharger includes a turbocharger housing, a rotary assembly, and a wastegate door. The turbocharger housing defines a wastegate opening, a resonator proximate to the wastegate opening, a compressor inlet, a compressor outlet, a turbine inlet, and a turbine outlet. The rotary assembly includes a turbine and a compressor attached to one another by a shaft wherein the rotary assembly is disposed in the turbocharger housing. The wastegate door may be moveably affixed to the turbocharger housing.

Abstract: A turbocharger for an internal combustion engine includes a rotating assembly having a turbine wheel disposed inside a turbine housing and a compressor wheel disposed inside a compressor cover. The turbine housing defines a turbine outlet cavity, a turbine housing inlet, and a turbine housing outlet. The turbine housing inlet is configured to channel engine post-combustion gases to the turbine wheel and the turbine housing outlet is configured to exhaust the gases aft of the turbine wheel. A diffuser arranged inside the turbine outlet cavity is configured to channel the post-combustion gases aft of the turbine wheel and out to the turbine housing outlet, without discharging into the turbine outlet cavity.
