摘要: Apparatuses, systems and methods are disclosed for separating oil from a blow-by gas of an engine. An example includes engine system includes a crankcase having a blow-by gas passing therethrough, a compressor configured to receive air and compress the air, an aftercooler, an oil separating apparatus and a jet pump. The aftercooler communicates with the compressor and is configured to cool at least a portion of the air compressed by the compressor. The oil separating apparatus communicates with the blow-by gas. The oil separating apparatus communicates with a boost air that is a mixture of the compressed air from the compressor and cooled air from the aftercooler. The jet pump communicates with both the blow-by gas after leaving the oil separating apparatus and the boost air after leaving the oil separating apparatus and is configured to combine the blow-by gas and the boost air.

摘要: The internal combustion engine includes a second separator, a connection pipe, and a pressure sensor. Inside the second separator, a main chamber located in the cylinder head cover, and a first sub-chamber and a second sub-chamber located in a joint portion located outside the cylinder head cover are formed. The first sub-chamber and the second sub-chamber are partitioned by partition walls. A communication hole connecting the first sub-chamber and the second sub-chamber is formed in the partition wall. The first sub-chamber is connected to the main chamber via a throttle portion. A first connection port connected to the first sub-chamber and a second connection port connected to the second sub-chamber are formed in the joint portion. The first connection port is connected to the intake passage via a connection pipe. The second connection port is connected to the pressure sensor.

摘要: A flow accelerating ventilation type head cover may include a baffle separating a lower space which is opened such that blow-by gas containing an oil particle generated from an engine is collected thereto and an upper space which is closed such that the blow-by gas is flowed out to an outside of the engine and having a baffle passage communicating the lower space with the upper space such that the blow-by gas is exhausted from the lower space to the upper space therethrough, and a flow accelerating member being coupled with the baffle passage and being positioned in the upper space so as to accelerate a flow speed of the blow-by gas passing through the baffle passage and thus separate the oil particle by collision effect of impacting the oil particle with each other in the upper space.

摘要: An engine includes an air filter assembly having a filter element and a case. A base of the case includes multiple clips, multiple pins, and a catch. The clips are configured to engage a bottom wall of the filter element. A cover of the case includes multiple hinge wings, a hook, and a guide structure. Each of the hinge wings is coupled with a corresponding pin of the base to allow the cover to rotate about the pins. The hook is configured to fasten to the catch of the base for securing the case in a closed configuration. The guide is configured to facilitate placement of the hook and prevent lateral slipping of the hook from the catch of the base. The base and the cover define an interior volume of the air filter assembly sized to receive the filter element.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for coordinating throttle bypass flows from brake booster vacuum reservoir, a fuel vapor purge system, and a crankcase ventilation system via active, electrical control of a crankcase ventilation valve. In one example, a method may include actively opening the crankcase ventilation valve to allow crankcase ventilation flow into the engine during conditions in which doing so will not result in engine air flow rate and/or engine fuel flow rate exceeding desired rates. Priority is given first to brake booster replenishment, then to fuel vapor purging, and then to crankcase ventilation during conditions where all three throttle bypass flows are desired.

摘要: A supercharger-equipped internal combustion engine in the present invention includes a turbo-supercharger (20) which includes, at some point in an intake passage (26), a centrifugal compressor (20b) having an impeller section (20b4) for housing a compressor impeller (20b3). In the supercharger-equipped internal combustion engine, EGR gas and blow-by gas are introduced into an intake system in such a way as to flow into the centrifugal compressor (20b) via an EGR gas introduction section (40a) and a blow-by gas introduction section (48a). The supercharger-equipped internal combustion engine further includes a partition wall (52) which guides the EGR gas and the blow-by gas toward the centrifugal compressor (20b) so that the EGR gas and the blow-by gas are not mixed with each other until the EGR gas and the blow-by gas enter into the impeller section (20b4).
