Abstract: A battery cell includes a gas flow vent system including a cell can having a plurality of walls that define a cell stack receiving zone. The plurality of walls include a vent surface including a vent opening and a gas flow guide surface. A cell stack is arranged in the cell stack receiving zone. A spacer is arranged in the cell stack receiving zone adjacent the gas flow guide surface. The spacer includes a first surface facing the cell stack and a second surface spaced from the gas flow guide surface so as to define a gas flow duct that channels gases from the cell stack to the vent opening.

Abstract: A battery cell for a vehicle includes a cell can having a first wall, a second wall, a first side wall and a second side wall. The first wall, the second wall, the first side wall, and the second side wall defining an electrode stack receiving zone. A vent is formed in the second wall. The vent is spaced from the first side wall and the second side wall. The vent fluidically connects the electrode stack receiving zone with an exterior of the cell can. An electrode stack is positioned in the electrode stack receiving zone. The electrode stack is spaced from of the first side wall by a channel. A cell stack support is arranged in the electrode stack receiving zone and supporting the electrode stack above the second wall. The cell stack support includes at least one passage that transports gases from the channel to the vent.

Abstract: A compressor assembly includes a compressor housing having an inlet port configured to receive intake air and an outlet port configured to discharge pressurized air. A hollow section having an inner radial surface defines the inlet port of the compressor housing. A compressor wheel is disposed in the hollow section. A positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) passage is configured to allow airflow between a crankcase of an engine and the hollow section of the compressor housing. The PCV passage has an outlet opening that opens into the hollow section of the compressor housing and the inner radial surface includes an integrally formed raised boss surrounding the outlet opening and protruding into the hollow section.

Abstract: A compressor assembly includes a compressor housing and a positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube. The compressor housing has an inlet port configured to receive intake air at ambient pressure, an outlet port configured to discharge pressurized air, and a hollow cylindrical section having an inner radial surface and an outer radial surface. The inner radial surface of the hollow cylindrical section defines the inlet port of the compressor housing. The PCV tube is configured to allow airflow between a crankcase of an engine and the inlet port of the compressor housing. The PCV tube extends through the hollow cylindrical section of the compressor housing and beyond the inner radial surface of the hollow cylindrical section.
