    摘要: A direct current feeder protection system includes six conductors, four current sensors sensing four currents flowing in four of the conductors, four circuit interrupters interrupting currents flowing in the four conductors, and a processor cooperating with the current sensors to input four sensed currents, and to output a number of commands to the circuit interrupters. The processor includes a routine detecting a number of: a directional current fault of the sensed currents, a differential current fault of the sensed first and third currents or the sensed second and fourth currents, and a residual current fault of the sensed first and second currents or the sensed third and fourth currents, and to responsively output the commands. The first, fifth and third conductors are electrically connected in series with two of the circuit interrupters, and the second, sixth and fourth conductors are electrically connected in series with the other circuit interrupters.

    摘要: A system and method for associating a vehicle and vehicle trailer is described. The system comprises one or more sensors that transmit information wirelessly to a tractor display unit. The tractor display unit determines whether the sensor is associated with a trailer to which it is connected and filters out messages from sensors that are not associated with its trailer. To determine which sensors are associated with its trailer, a processor in the tractor display unit synchronizes the reception of sensor messages with the reception of a synchronizing signal, such as a signal generated by operating an auxiliary power system, turn signal, or brake.

    摘要: A control system utilizes a multiplex communication system for switchably operating power windows, power seats, power door locks, power mirrors, accessory lighting, etc. Switches mounted on the driver door and elsewhere communicate with a door-mounted microcomputer, which scans the state of each switch, prioritizes the requests, and issues commands in accordance with algorithms to control the windows, door locks, etc. The system has three modes of operation: Asleep, Active, and Awake. In the Asleep mode electrical power consumption is very small, and only a selected few input sesors are periodically monitored as to status. If a door handle is lifted or other action starts, the system changes to an Active mode, in which many more sensors are periodically scanned, and most output motors can be operated. In the Awake mode, windows can also be operated.
