摘要： A multi-focal camera apparatus and methods and mediums for generating a focus-free image and an autofocus image using the multi-focal camera apparatus are provided. The multi-focal camera apparatus includes a lens module which comprises a plurality of lenses that concentrate light incident thereupon, and an image-sensor module which comprises a plurality of sensing zones respectively corresponding to the lenses, and obtains a plurality of images by converting beams of light that transmit through the lenses into electrical signals using the sensing zones, wherein the lenses have the same optical properties and are different distances apart from the respective sensing zones.

摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus to restore an image with a high resolution from an image obtained through a miniaturized camera module. The method includes obtaining a plurality of original color-separated images through a camera module including a plurality of lenses and a plurality of image sensing areas corresponding to the lenses, respectively, generating a first intermediate image corresponding to the sensing areas, the first intermediate image being divided into a plurality of pixel groups, generating a second intermediate image by mapping pixel information of pixels at identical positions in respective original color-separated images onto a predetermined pixel of a pixel group in the first intermediate image corresponding to the identical position, and generating a final image by interpolating the second intermediate image. The pixel group includes a plurality of pixels corresponding to an arrangement pattern of color filters.

The apparatus includes a camera module including a plurality of lenses, and a plurality of sub image sensors corresponding to the plurality of lenses, the plurality of sub image sensors each including a color filter having a single color, an original image generation module receiving a plurality of original color-separated images, an intermediate image generation module rearranging pixel information of pixels at identical positions at the plurality of original color-separated images provided from the original image generation module and generating an intermediate image having a higher resolution than each of the original color-separated images, and a final image generation module performing demosaicing on the intermediate image, performing deblurring on the demosaiced intermediate image, and generating a final image.
