    摘要: An exit device employs a pair of projectable latches which are retractable by depressing a push pad. A latch actuator is mounted between the latches and is actuatable to retract the latches. In one embodiment, the actuator comprises a pair of solenoids controlled from a remote location. In another embodiment, the actuator comprises a motor which is activatable from a remote location for unlatching the door. In addition an exterior operator is mountable and connectable to the latch actuator to provide controlled access from the exterior of the door.

    摘要: A high security exit system employs a door latching assembly which cooperates with a frame latching assembly mounted to the door frame. The frame latch is mounted for pivotal movement and has a latching surface movable toward a projected position. When the door is closed, the door and frame latching surfaces are projected and engaged in opposed surface-to-surface orientation. A direction of force resulting from an attempt to forcibly disengage the latching surfaces is directed through or close to the pivot access of the door latch. An override assembly is provided to force the frame latch to a retracted position when the door is opened. Auxiliary latch assemblies and corresponding frame latch assemblies are provided for coordinated latching and retraction when the push bar retracts the primary door latch. Dual latch assemblies are also provided. A solenoid mechanism may be employed to dog the push bar.

    摘要: An exit door security system which employs an electromagnet and armature to lock an exit door comprises an electromagnetic housing and a frame assembly. The housing is pivotally mounted to the frame assembly. An attempt to exit the door causes the housing to pivot to thereby actuate a switch. The lock is automatically released after a pre-established time delay. An alarm at the door may also be actuated by the switch. The electronic circuitry is configured to allow for immediate authorized egress and to implement an immediate safety release of the lock. The lock may be operated in either a normally locked or normally unlocked mode.

    摘要: A cable bolt mine roof crib for support and stabilization of roof rocks employing a series of cable bolts and/or cable members through a cribbing frame for actively supporting the roof and area surrounding an underground opening. The support imposes a restraint on geologic movement of the roof by the placement of rock anchors on the ends of cables at depth through the rock mass. The anchor portions of the cable bolts are placed beyond the zone of failure that would normally take place around an underground opening. The roof crib provides a bearing area for the roof rock which limits deformation and offers support by suspension to maintain interlock of rock fragments of the roof of the underground opening. The strength and length of cable bolts can be adjusted to fit initial tectonic load conditions and subsequent loads placed upon the opening by adjacent mining. The roof rocks above the crib may be prestressed by tensioning of the individual cable members, by the placement of pump packs or timber lagging between the crib frame and the roof rocks which may be pressurized to preload the entire structure.
