    摘要: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that automatically identifies a standalone location, wherein a standalone location is a location which can be unambiguously identified by a name for the location alone. During operation, the system receives inputs from an interface for a search engine, wherein the interface includes two or more boxes, including a non-location box for receiving terms specifying what a user is searching for in a query, and a location box for receiving terms specifying a geographic location associated with the query. Next, the system receives a term to be evaluated. The system then uses the inputs to determine: a non-location score for the term which indicates how frequently the term appears in the non-location box; and a location score for the term which indicates how frequently the term appears in the location box. Next, the system determines whether the term is a standalone location based on the non-location score and the location score for the term.

    摘要: Systems and methods for storefront recognition are provided. A surveyor or other user can access an application implemented on a computing device. A source image of a storefront of an entity can be captured by the surveyor using an image capture device (e.g. a digital camera). A feature matching process can be used to compare the source image against a plurality of candidate images of storefronts in the geographic area and return a list of the candidate images with the closest match. Each candidate image returned by the application can be annotated with a similarity score indicative of the similarity of the source image with the candidate image. The surveyor can use the similarity scores and the candidate images to determine whether the store has been previously investigated. The user can interact with the application to indicate whether the entity seeds to be investigated.

    摘要: A protection circuits for server racks may include an Oring circuit having a first MOSFET, a first diode, and first and second comparators. Each of the first and second comparators supports a maximum voltage difference that is less than an operational voltage of the power supply. The protection circuit also includes a clamping circuit having a second MOSFET and a second diode. Each of the first and second comparators is configured to compare voltage at the first MOSFET with voltage at the second MOSFET. The first comparator is configured to switch the first MOSFET to an off condition using the comparison, and the second comparator is configured to switch the first MOSFET to an on condition using the comparison. The second MOSFET is configured to clamp a node of each of the first and second comparators to below the maximum in the event of a short at the power supply.
