摘要: A method for creating, executing and communicating customized, automated checklists may include dynamically creating a customized checklist including a plurality of checklist items. The method may also include transmitting a notification to a predetermined recipient that the customized checklist is available. The method may additionally include displaying the customized checklist on an interface device in response to the customized checklist being selected by the recipient. The method may additionally include updating a status of each checklist item in response to each checklist item being completed. The method may further include determining if a new checklist is available during execution of an existing checklist and allowing a user to switch to the new checklist during the execution of the existing checklist.

摘要: A method and apparatus for exchanging information between a source and an aircraft. In response to a request to exchange the information between the aircraft and the source, a number of aircraft is identified to send microwave signals between the source and the aircraft to form a number of identified aircraft based on a location of the aircraft and a location of the source. The number of identified aircraft is configured to send the microwave signals between the source and the aircraft to form a number of configured aircraft. The number of configured aircraft forms a mobile network. The microwave signals are sent between the source and the aircraft using the number of configured aircraft. The information is exchanged between the aircraft and the source using the microwave signals sent through the mobile network.

摘要: Methods and systems for data prioritization are described. In one example embodiment, the method includes the steps of assigning data an urgency and importance, and prioritizing the data using the assigned urgency and importance. In one specific example, such prioritization is then used in communicating, e.g., dispatching, the data. For example, such urgency and importance are used in prioritizing data to be communicated between an onboard aircraft system and a ground based system.

摘要: A system and method of automatically advising an individual, in real-time, of all available facts related to a current situation. The method is facilitated by a system, which automatically retrieves data related to a situation from a plurality of aviation enterprise systems, processes the data retrieved in real time and generates a situational awareness data that is presented in an optimal format to a user on an interface device. Processing of the data retrieved from the plurality of aviation enterprise systems comprises correlating the data in accordance with business rules and interpreting the data in view of previously stored historical information that relates to the situation. The situational awareness data generated is further processed in view of a user profile in order to create a viewable situational awareness data that has been optimized for presentation to an identified user of the system in accordance with the user profile.

摘要: A method of communicatively connecting first and second endpoints across a NAT and/or PAT router to form an IPSec encrypted tunnel is disclosed. A message is received by the first endpoint from the second endpoint. The message includes an encrypted portion including a source port, a destination port, a source IP address, and a destination IP address. It is determined whether a table entry exists for the message. If Yes, it is determined by the first endpoint whether a NAT router and/or a PAT router is between the first endpoint and the second endpoint based, at least in part, on the table entry and the encrypted portion of the message. If Yes, an IPSec encrypted tunnel is created using IPSec transport mode for further communications between the first and second endpoints. An apparatus and a computer program product are also disclosed.

摘要: A method for providing an enterprise with a situational awareness for conditions related to aircraft departure is described. The method includes receiving data related to one or more events that have the potential to affect conditions related to an aircraft's departure from a plurality of enterprise related systems, correlating the received data in accordance with one or more business rules, generating an aircraft departure situational awareness data set from the correlated data, processing the aircraft departure situational awareness data set in view of at least one user profile, and providing at least one recommendation, each recommendation associated with one user profile, directed to addressing the conditions related to aircraft departure.

摘要: The embodiments described herein recite a telephone communication system used for handling information such as messages, typically voice mail messages, and, more particularly, is directed to a system that provides distributed session initiation protocol (SIP) silos. Distributed SIP silos (DSS) is a Communications Application Platform (CAP) feature that maintains the site's call capacity even when a signaling server fails. DSS uses multiple non-redundant signaling servers to provide SIP signaling for the same set of media ports. Because there are multiple signaling servers providing signaling for the same set of ports, the failure of one signaling server only terminates the calls it was actively processing and once those calls have been cleaned up, all the available (non-suspended) ports in the configuration are available to the remaining signaling servers.
