Abstract: A fluid circuit of a heat exchanger includes a core and a first header. The core is configured to receive a fluid and includes a plurality of conduits. Each of the plurality of conduits extends along a longitudinal axis from a first end portion to a second end portion. The first header is integrally formed with and fluidly connecting the plurality of conduits. Outer walls of the plurality of conduits taper outward relative to the longitudinal axes to join the first header.

Abstract: A water injector for an aviation cooling system includes a body having a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween. A conduit extends through the body from the first end to the second end. A spray nozzle is fluidically connected to the conduit and arranged at one of the first end and the second end. A mounting plate is arranged at the other of the first end and the second end. The mounting plate is configured and disposed to secure the body to an aviation cooling component. A filter is supported at the body and is fluidically exposed to the conduit. The filter is configured and disposed to capture particulate flowing into the water injector towards the spray nozzle.

Abstract: A water extractor for an environmental control system of an aircraft includes a separation mechanism configured to divide an airflow into a first airflow and a second airflow. The separation mechanism includes an inlet conduit, a body in fluid communication with the inlet conduit, and at least one coalescing feature arranged within an interior of the body. A water extraction vessel is arranged in fluid communication with the separation mechanism. The water extraction vessel includes a first portion for receiving the first airflow and a second portion for receiving the second airflow. The first portion is configured to collect and remove water from the first airflow.

Abstract: An Environmental Control System (ECS) for an aircraft includes a ram air system having a ram inlet and a ram outlet. The ECS includes a cabin air compressor motor, a diverter valve, and a dedicated outlet. The cabin air compressor motor has a motor inlet passage and a motor outlet passage with the motor inlet passage being coupled to the ram inlet. The diverter valve includes a first diverter inlet, a first diverter outlet, and a second diverter outlet. The first diverter inlet is coupled to the motor outlet passage. The dedicated outlet is connected to the first diverter outlet in a flight mode of operation of the aircraft and the ram outlet is connected to the second diverter outlet in a ground mode of operation of the aircraft.

Abstract: An Environmental Control System (ECS) for an aircraft includes a ram air system having a ram inlet and a ram outlet. The dedicated outlet is connected to the first diverter outlet in a flight mode of operation of the aircraft and the ram outlet is connected to the second diverter outlet in a ground mode of operation of the aircraft.
