    Abstract: A system includes a laser scanner system. The system includes a scanner laser to generate an optical scanning beam. The system also includes a spindle assembly comprising a spindle that extends along an axis and reflects the optical scanning beam. The system also includes a beam detector to receive the reflected optical scanning beam from the single facet and to indicate when to generate a latent image corresponding to an image based on the optical scanning beam for a given scan operation. The system further includes a scan controller to control the scanner laser such that the optical scanning beam is reflected from only a single facet of the spindle during the given scan operation.

    Abstract: An example system includes a rectifying component to convert an alternating current (AC) signal into a direct current (DC) signal. The system also includes a filtering component. The filtering component determines that a plurality of AC cycle drops have occurred and will deactivate the AC signal in response to that determination. Furthermore, the system includes an isolating component. The isolating component consumes greater than a threshold level of power in one state and less than a threshold level of power in another state. The isolating component is operating in the state that consumes greater than a threshold level of power when the signal that indicates the AC voltage is at a level in which it may allow the device to operate safely and properly is deactivated.

    Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a method for determining fusing energy per page based on an applied voltage is described. According to the method, a resistance of a fusing system is acquired and an input voltage of a fusing system is estimated. A duty ratio of the fusing system is measured and a fusing energy per processed page is then determined based on the input voltage, the fusing system resistance, and the duty ratio of the fusing system. A media weight is then determined based on the fusing energy per processed page.
