Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure are directed toward an ink composition including a surfactant. An example ink composition consistent with the present disclosure includes a dye colorant dispersion, a solvent, a chelating agent, an oleth-3-phosphate, and a surfactant including a modified fatty alcohol polyglycol ether. In various examples, the dye colorant dispersion is present in an amount ranging from about 1.0 wt % to about 7.0 wt % based on a total weight of the ink, and the solvent is present in an amount ranging from about 10 wt % to about 22 wt % based on the total weight of the ink. The chelating agent may be present in an amount ranging from about 0.05 wt % to about 0.2 wt % based on the total weight of the ink, and the oleth-3-phosphate is in an amount ranging from about 0.1 wt % to about 0.3 wt % based on the total weight of the ink.

Abstract: The present disclosure is drawn to coating compositions that can include an inorganic pigment, a non-ionic surfactant, latex particles, a polyvinyl alcohol, and a cationic fixing agent. The inorganic pigment can be included in an amount from 60 wt % to 90 wt % by dry weight. The latex particles can include a styrene-butadiene copolymer, and can be present in an amount of 4 wt % to less than 10 wt % by dry weight. The polyvinyl alcohol can have a weight average molecular weight of 150,000 Mw to 400,000 Mw.

Abstract: An example of a printable recording medium includes a base substrate, a first ink-receiving layer, and a second ink-receiving layer. The first ink-receiving layer includes a first inorganic pigment in an amount equal to or greater than 70 wt % and a first ink-fixing agent in an amount ranging from about 3 wt % to about 10 wt % based on a total wt % of the first ink-receiving layer. The second ink-receiving layer includes a second inorganic pigment. Both the first ink-receiving layer and the second ink-receiving layer exclude precipitated calcium carbonate.
