    Abstract: In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a method for controlling actuation of switches associated with a touchpad of a computing device may include detecting touch in a first zone of the touchpad, deactivating a first locking assembly of the first zone to enable actuation of a first switch associated with the first zone, upon a first depression of the touchpad in the first zone, and activating a second locking assembly of a second zone of the touchpad, separate from the first zone, wherein activation of the second locking assembly is to disable actuation of a second switch associated with the second zone, upon the first depression of the touchpad.

    Abstract: Example implementations relate to ferromagnetic covers. For instance, in an example housing can include a bezel including first opening extending through a recess included in the bezel, a first magnet and a second magnet in an internal volume of the housing, and a ferromagnetic cover disposed in the recess and magnetically coupled to the first magnet and the second magnet, where the ferromagnetic cover includes a second opening to obscure a viewing portion of the first opening with the continuous portion when the ferromagnetic cover is positioned adjacent to a first side surface of the recess.

    Abstract: In an example, a biometric sensor, includes a first communication interface to receive information associated with an enumeration of the biometric sensor from a host, a second communication interface, and input sensing circuitry to detect an input signal at the biometric sensor. The biometric sensor further includes a controller to, in response to detecting the input signal, transmit a message to wake up the host via the second communication interface, and in response to receiving an indication that a lid of the host has closed, control operation of the biometric sensor by placing the biometric sensor in a low power state.
