摘要: A fuel cell stack is comprised of a plurality of power generating units which are stacked along the horizontal direction. An oxidant gas inlet port and a fuel gas inlet port are provided in an upper portion of one of the power generating units, and an oxidant gas outlet port and a fuel gas outlet port are provided in the lower portion of the power generating unit. A refrigerant inlet port and a refrigerant outlet port are formed in each of the left and right portions of the power generating unit.

摘要: A fuel cell stack includes fuel cells, a reactant gas channel, a reactant gas inlet manifold, a reactant gas outlet manifold, an inlet buffer portion, and an outlet buffer portion. A reactant gas flows through the reactant gas channel along a surface of a separator. The reactant gas flows through the reactant gas inlet manifold and the reactant gas outlet manifold in a stacking direction. The inlet buffer portion connects an inlet of the reactant gas channel to the reactant gas inlet manifold. The inlet buffer portion includes linear inlet guide protrusions. Inlet guide channels are provided between the linear inlet guide protrusions and connect the reactant gas inlet manifold to the reactant gas channel. A pitch between the linear inlet guide protrusions increases in accordance with an increase in a distance from the reactant gas inlet manifold to the linear inlet guide protrusions.

摘要: A fuel cell system includes an air pump configured to supply air to a fuel cell, and a discharge flow rate determination unit which determines a discharge flow rate of the air pump when warming up the fuel cell, in accordance with a speed of a vehicle in which the fuel cell and the air pump are installed, or a required drive output of the vehicle. The discharge flow rate determination unit increases the discharge flow rate in the case that the speed or the required drive output is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, and decreases the discharge flow rate in the case that the speed or the required drive output is less than the predetermined threshold value.

摘要: A fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell, an oxygen-containing gas supply apparatus, and an ECU. A pump of the oxygen-containing gas supply apparatus is a shaft floating type air pump having a rotatable element. The rotatable element floats from a wall around the rotatable element, as a result of rotation of the rotatable element. The ECU includes a traveling permission determination instruction unit. The traveling permission determination instruction unit determines whether or not a predetermined condition indicative of a floating state of the rotatable element is satisfied, and if the predetermined condition is satisfied, permits traveling of the fuel cell vehicle, and if the predetermined condition is not satisfied, restricts traveling of the fuel cell vehicle.

摘要: A fuel cell system includes a FC, a TRC, an oxygen-containing gas supply apparatus, a battery, and an ECU. The ECU is capable of performing power consumption control which allows the oxygen-containing gas supply apparatus to consume electrical energy during regeneration of the TRC. The ECU is configured to determine a charge margin with respect to a charge limitation value of the battery, in a manner that the charge margin set after the power consumption control starts becomes smaller than the charge margin set before the power consumption control is performed.
