Abstract: This side mirror device includes: a mirror base; a housing a bearing mechanism; a mirror; an inclining mechanism; an internal housing; and a cover, wherein the bearing mechanism and the inclining mechanism are contained in an interior of the housing, and wherein the bearing mechanism and the inclining mechanism are formed so as to face each other across the mirror base along an axis line of the bearing mechanism, wherein the housing has an upper cover and a lower cover that are disposed so as to face each other, wherein the upper cover and the lower cover whose outer surface shapes form an mirror-image symmetry with each other, wherein the cover forms, on a rear side, an opening edge portion that exposes the mirror, wherein the opening edge portion is made of an involuted recess portion that is a rear-side end portion of the cover being bent inwardly toward the mirror, and wherein with the rear-side end portion of the internal housing is inserted into the involuted recess portion, the rear-side end portion of the cover is engaged with the rear-side end portion of the internal housing.

Abstract: Misalignment of a weather strip is controlled by a corner formed by a shoulder part and a lower inclined part formed in an edge portion of an opening of a roof. A locating face of a sealing part is pressed onto the shoulder part on one side of the corner, and a locating face of an inclined extension part is pressed onto the lower inclined part on the other side of the corner. The sealing part is adhered to at least one of the shoulder part or the upper inclined part with a double-sided tape.

Abstract: In a general-purpose engine including a cylinder block extending obliquely from one side of a crank case, and a cylinder head connected to an end surface of the cylinder block via a gasket, a unidirectional valve for allowing a flow of a fluid from a crank chamber to a valve operating chamber and blocking a reverse flow of the fluid is installed in an upper oil passage. In a case where lubricant oil reserved in the crank chamber flows into the valve operating chamber via a lower oil passage when the engine inclines such that the inclined cylinder block further slants, positive pressures transmitted from the crank chamber to the valve operating chamber push the oil, which once flows into the valve operating chamber, back to the crank chamber via the lower oil passage.
