摘要： A vehicle body structure having a detachable roof, in which a front seal member is provided in a roof opening, and the front seal member is in contact with a press end of a soft top. The front seal member includes a first stopper member provided adjacent to a first seal member and a second stopper member provided adjacent to a second seal member. The press end is in contact with both the first stopper member and the second stopper member in a condition that sealing is maintained by both the first seal member and the second seal member.

摘要： Misalignment of a weather strip is controlled by a corner formed by a shoulder part and a lower inclined part formed in an edge portion of an opening of a roof. A locating face of a sealing part is pressed onto the shoulder part on one side of the corner, and a locating face of an inclined extension part is pressed onto the lower inclined part on the other side of the corner. The sealing part is adhered to at least one of the shoulder part or the upper inclined part with a double-sided tape.

摘要： A encapsulated window assembly may be fixed or movable upon installation into an opening in a vehicle body, particularly a vehicle roof. In order to keep air, water and/or dirt from entering the passenger compartment of the vehicle, an integral seal is molded onto a dielectric substrate material. The seal, upon installation of the assembly into the vehicle body opening, effectively closes the gap between the edge of the window assembly and the sheet metal surrounding the body opening, without the need for a post-applied seal, for example, a preformed bulb seal.
