Abstract:
A vehicle driving force control device controls a driving force of an engine in accordance with an operation of a handlebar grip attached to a motorcycle. The handlebar grip is nonrotatably secured to a handlebar of the motorcycle. The vehicle driving force control device includes a strain gauge and a control section. The strain gauge acts as twisting force detection means for detecting a twisting force that is oriented in a normal rotation direction or in a reverse rotation direction and applied to the handlebar grip. The control section controls the driving force in accordance with the detected twisting force. The control section exercises control to increase the driving force in accordance with the twisting force oriented in the normal rotation direction.
Abstract:
A straddle type electric vehicle comprises a vehicle body frame, a motor unit including an electric motor, a battery that supplies power to the motor unit, and a control unit that executes drive control of the motor unit. The vehicle body frame includes a main frame extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction. The motor unit, the battery, and the control unit are supported by the main frame between the front wheel and the rear wheel, and in a vehicle side view. The motor unit and the control unit are disposed overlapping one another.
Abstract:
A throttle opening detection device includes a rotor which is rotated in an interlocking manner by manipulation of an acceleration grip which is mounted together with the rotor on a handlebar. First magnets are arranged near a peripheral portion of one side surface of the rotor along the circumferential direction of the rotor, while second magnets are respectively laminated to the first magnets, and have opposite polarities to the first magnets. The first magnets with the second magnets laminated thereto are disposed with a set spacing therebetween. A magnetic sensor for detecting a magnetic force generated by all the magnets is arranged to oppose, with a clearance therebetween, the one side surface of the rotor in which the magnets are arranged, in an axial direction of the rotor.
Abstract:
A throttle control apparatus is configured to be capable of easy assembly. The throttle control apparatus also includes a rotor and an intermediate casing, which surrounds a portion of the rotor. The intermediate casing also houses a position sensor for detecting a rotational angle of the rotor. The rotor and the intermediate casing are both encased in an outer housing, which is configured and adapted to be mounted on a motorcycle handlebar. A return spring, for returning the rotor to an original position, has one end engaged with a first retaining pin on the rotor, and the other end of the return spring is engaged with a second retaining pin on the intermediate casing.
