A portable electronic device having a speaker module is provided. The speaker module includes: a speaker unit; a back chamber; an acoustic region coupled between the speaker unit and the back chamber; and a porous material at least partially filling a portion of the front chamber, the back chamber, or the channel, for improving and extending bass performance and relieving a acoustic effect caused by the acoustic region coupling the speaker unit and back chamber. Moreover, the portable electronic device is advantageously able to compensate a resonance degradation caused by the porous material.

A control method of sound producing, sound producing apparatus, and portable apparatus are provided. The control method of sound producing is for a portable device, including the following steps. (a) A first detected parameter indicating a detected excursion of a speaker of the portable device is generated. (b) A second audio signal is generated based on a first audio signal, wherein the second audio signal is generated selectively by compensation according to at least the first detected parameter. (c) A gain value is determined according to at least the first detected parameter and a third audio signal is generated based on the second audio signal according to the gain value.

The sound produce system includes a speaker, a feedback unit, a gain unit and a compensation unit. The speaker generates audible sound according to an output audio signal. The feedback unit generates a first detected parameter, wherein the first detected parameter represents a detected excursion. The gain unit receives an input audio signal, and amplifies the input audio signal to generate a gained audio signal according to a gain value. The compensation unit receives the gained audio signal and the first detected parameter, and predicts an excursion of the speaker corresponding to the gained audio signal to generate a predicted excursion parameter, and compensates the gained audio signal to generate the output audio signal according to the first detected parameter and the predicted excursion parameter.

The controller is configured to: divide the display image into a plurality of display regions; establish a correspondence between the disposition positions and relative positions of the display regions; receive a playback setting command of a selected region, and set a playing weight of each of the display regions according to the playback setting command; and adjust a volume playback setting corresponding to the sound signals according to the playing weight of each of the display regions and the correspondence, and generate an output sound signal according to the volume playback setting and the sound signals. The speaker performs a sound playing action.

A response compensation method, an electronic device and a computer recording medium are provided, where the method is adapted to an electronic device having two non-coplanarly disposed speakers and includes the following steps. A stereo audio signal is respectively high-pass filtered and low-pass filtered followed by sound-field processing to generate a modified high-frequency right-channel signal, a modified high-frequency left-channel signal, a modified low-frequency right-channel signal, and a modified low-frequency left-channel signal. The modified high-frequency right-channel signal and the modified low-frequency right-channel signal are outputted to the first speaker, and the modified high-frequency left-channel signal and the modified low-frequency left-channel signal are outputted to the second speaker, where the modified high-frequency right-channel signal and the modified high-frequency left-channel signal are outputted diffusely by the two speakers, and the modified low-frequency right-channel signal and the modified low-frequency left-channel signal are outputted centrally by the two speakers.

The invention provides one sound producing system including a speaker, a driving circuit and an audio controller. The speaker is used for producing an audible sound. The driving circuit is connected to the speaker. The audio controller is configured to receive an input audio signal and pre-amplify the input audio signal with an amplify gain to obtain a pre-amplified audio signal; operate a multiband dynamic range control on the pre-amplified audio signal to obtain an output audio signal; convert the output audio signal to a driving voltage; provide the driving voltage to the speaker through the driving circuit; detect over the driving circuit to obtain at least one excursion parameter to determine an estimated excursion of the speaker in response to the driving voltage; and adjust the amplify gain according to the estimated excursion.
