    Abstract: This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and discloses a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device receives first indication information, where the first indication information indicates a target monitoring occasion of first control information, and then, the terminal device may monitor the first control information on the target monitoring occasion, where the first control information is used to schedule information about a multicast service. The target monitoring occasion includes at least one of a plurality of monitoring occasions of the first control information. In this manner, an access network device sends the first indication information to the terminal device to indicate the target monitoring occasion, so that the terminal device can perform monitoring on the target monitoring occasion. Compared with a manner in which a terminal device performs monitoring on a plurality of monitoring occasions of first control information, this manner reduces unnecessary monitoring.

    Abstract: This application provides for a data transmission method, an apparatus, and a device. The method may be applied to a relay communication system. The method includes a first network device that receives a first data packet. The first data packet is a data packet of a first multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS), and the first data packet carries first information. When second information of the first network device matches the first information, the first network device sends the first data packet to a terminal device that accesses the first network device. The second information is preconfigured for the first network device. In this way, the MBMS is transmitted in the relay communication system.

    Abstract: A terminal device can modify, through an RRC link providing a normal service, an RRC link in which an RLF or channel quality deterioration occurs, so that the terminal device maintains RRC links to at least two network devices, thereby ensuring RRC reliability while the failed RRC link or the RRC link whose channel quality is poor is replaced in time.     Abstract: This application provides a paging message detection method and apparatus, and a communication device. A first access device determines a first resource when the first access device is to send a radio access network paging message to a first terminal device in an inactive state, where the first resource is to carry a first wake-up signal; and the first wake-up signal is to indicate the first terminal device to detect downlink control information for scheduling the paging message that is carried by a first paging occasion resource. The first access device sends the first wake-up signal to the first terminal device on the first resource. The first access device sends, on the first paging occasion resource, the downlink control information for scheduling the paging message. In this way, power consumption of the terminal device can be reduced, and electric energy can be saved.
