Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a terminal configuration method and an apparatus. When determining that a SIM card in a terminal is powered on, a wireless communications module reads SIM card information such as some or all of an international mobile subscriber identity IMSI, a service provider name SPN, or a global identifier ID GID in the SIM card from the SIM card. Then, the SIM card information obtained by the wireless communications module is sent to an application processor. The application processor obtains an operator parameter based on the SIM card information reported by the wireless communications module, and configures the terminal. Therefore, at a moment at which the SIM card is powered on, the wireless communications module obtains the SIM card information from the SIM card, so that a timing for the UE to obtain the IMSI is advanced.

Abstract: A system message acquisition determining method includes: receiving, by the terminal device, DCI sent by a base station, and decoding the received DCI; and determining, by the terminal device according to a result of decoding the DCI or a result of decoding the DCI and a first condition, whether to read a system message sent by the base station. In this way, the terminal device does not need to read the system message in each paging period. This reduces a quantity of times of reading the system message, and further reduces power consumption of the terminal device, and prolongs a standby time period of the terminal device.

Abstract: The present application discloses a virtual trusted platform nodule (vTPM)-based virtual machine security protection method and system. The method, executed by a physical host, includes: receiving a primary seed acquisition request sent by a virtual machine, where the primary seed acquisition request carries a UUID; sending the UUID to a KMC, so that the KMC generates a primary seed according to the UUID; and receiving the primary seed fed back by the KMC, and sending the primary seed to the virtual machine, so that the virtual machine creates a root key of a vTPM according to the primary seed, where the root key is used by the vTPM to create a key for the virtual machine to protect security of the virtual machine. As such, the same root key can be created by using the primary seed.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for monitoring a wavelength channel are disclosed. The method includes: performing optical-to-electrical detection on an optical signal on a wavelength channel, to obtain an electrical signal; obtaining a frequency spectrum of the electrical signal; determining a first parameter M according to an equation M=NAC, where NAC represents an alternating current component of the frequency spectrum of the electrical signal; and if M is greater than a preset first threshold, determining that the wavelength channel includes a real service signal. According to the method and apparatus, an erroneous configuration or operation of a network management system can be avoided.
