    Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are disclosed. According to the communication method, corresponding PDCP entities of a first terminal and a second terminal use consistent input parameters when executing security algorithms, thereby ensuring normal communication on a sidelink (SL) and improving communication reliability. In an example embodiment, a first terminal determines a logical channel identifier (LCID) meeting a preset condition, where a first packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity of the first terminal is associated with two or more logical channels (LCHs); the first terminal receives a first data packet from a second terminal; and the first PDCP entity of the first terminal parses the first data packet based on the LCID.

    Abstract: This application provides a sidelink communication method and a related apparatus. The method may include: A first terminal device determines first indication information, and sends first SCI including the first indication information to a second terminal device, where the first indication information is used to determine not to perform LBT on PSFCH resources; and when receiving the first SCI, the second terminal device determines, according to the first indication information included in the first SCI, not to perform LBT on the PSFCH resources. This application may be applied to a scenario in which SL communication is performed by using an unlicensed spectrum, to reduce power consumption of the second terminal device and improve SL communication quality.

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and discloses a communication method and an apparatus. The method includes: A relay terminal receives first identifier information from a remote terminal, where when the remote terminal is in an idle state, the first identifier information includes an S-TMSI of the remote terminal, and when the remote terminal is in an inactive state, the first identifier information includes an I-RNTI of the remote terminal.     Abstract: A relay device first receives a data packet from a network device through a first link, and sends the data packet to user equipment through a second link.     Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure relate to a sidelink communication method, including: A first user equipment receives a first message from a second user equipment; the first user equipment determines, based on the first message, a first frequency used to communicate with the second user equipment, where the first user equipment supports at least the first frequency and a second frequency, and the second user equipment supports at least the first frequency; and the first user equipment sends a second message to the second user equipment at the first frequency, where the second message is associated with a unicast connection establishment process or a discovery process. Therefore, the unicast connection establishment process or the discovery process can be performed on a carrier supported by all terminal devices that perform communication, to ensure that the unicast connection establishment process or the discovery process can be correctly performed, improving sidelink communication quality.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and a related device. The method includes: a network device firstly sends the configuration information to the user equipment, and then the user equipment obtains a first condition based on the configuration information. Then, in a measurement process, the user equipment sends a measurement report to the network device when determining that the first condition is currently met. After obtaining the measurement report, the network device indicates at least one candidate relay device to the user equipment by using a path switch command. The user equipment determines one relay device in the at least one candidate relay device, and communicates with the network device or another network device through the determined relay device.
