Abstract:
The invention relates to a gelled aqueous polymer composition for forming, by means of drying then pyrolysis, a monolithic porous carbon, to a pyrolysed carbonated composition produced by the drying, followed by the pyrolysis, of said gelled composition, to a porous carbon electrode for a supercapacitor comprising said pyrolysed composition, and to methods for producing said respectively gelled and pyrolysed compositions. A gelled composition according to the invention, produced from the polycondensation of polyhydroxybenzene(s) and hexymethylenetetramine, is such that the hexymethylenetetramine comprised therein represents a mass fraction of between 7% and 15% inclusive. Said gelled composition is produced by a) polycondensation in an aqueous solvent of the polyhydroxybenzene(s) and hexymethylenetetramine, followed by b) gelling by heating of said polycondensate.
Abstract:
A process for preparing a polymeric composition for forming a lithium-ion or sodium-ion battery electrode or a supercapacitor electrode or for exhibiting magnetic properties, to such a polymeric composition obtained by means of this process, to a mixture which is a precursor of the composition, obtained by means of a first mixing step of the process, and to this electrode. The process for preparing this composition comprises: a) hot-mixing, via the melt process and without solvent, at least one active material, a binder-forming polymeric phase and a sacrificial polymeric phase so as to obtain a mixture, and b) at least partially eliminating said sacrificial polymeric phase so as to obtain said composition which comprises the active material(s) according to a weight fraction greater than 80%. The sacrificial phase is used in step a) according to a weight fraction in the mixture being greater than or equal to 15%.
Abstract:
Polymer composition for an electrode, method, and a lithium-ion battery including same are provided. This composition includes an active material having a graphite usable in the anode, an electrically conductive filler and a cross-linked elastomer binder that includes a hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene copolymer (HNBR). The binder includes a non-hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene copolymer (NBR) and/or an HNBR with an acrylonitrile content that is at least 40% by weight and cross-linked by thermal oxidation. This method includes: a) mixing the active material, the binder in a non-cross-linked state and the electrically conductive filler, to obtain a precursor mixture of the composition, b) depositing the mixture on a metal current collector so that the mixture forms a non-cross-linked film, then c) thermal oxidation of the non-cross-linked film under an atmosphere containing oxygen at a temperature of between 200 and 300° C., to obtain the electrode in which the binder is cross-linked.
Abstract:
