    Abstract: An automated parking system of a vehicle autonomously moves to and parks in a vacant parking slot based on communication with an infrastructure facility for automated parking. In particular, the infrastructure facility transmits an autonomous valet parking start command to the vehicle and then transmits a target position and a guide route to the vehicle. The vehicle performs autonomous valet parking based on the target position and the guide route received from the infrastructure facility, and may apply an emergency brake when an area around the vehicle is determined as being unsafe during autonomous driving to the target position.

    Abstract: An autonomous driving apparatus and a method for generating a precise map using the autonomous driving apparatus are configured to vary an application ratio of interpolation to precise map data to be stored depending on an accident risk on a corresponding road and a distance from a host vehicle during driving so as to optimize the precise map data to be stored.     Abstract: A lane changing apparatus of an autonomous vehicle includes a lane recognizer, a vehicle information collector, a control information calculator, a controller and a steering apparatus. The lane recognizer is configured to recognize a lane of a road on which the vehicle is driving and extract road information from the recognized lane. The vehicle information collector is configured to collect vehicle information by a variety of sensors installed in the vehicle. The control information calculator is configured to calculate control information for changing the lane by using the vehicle information and the road information. The controller is configured to control a yaw rate of the vehicle based on the control information upon changing the lane. The steering apparatus is configured to change a moving direction of the vehicle according to a control of the controller.

    Abstract: An automated valet parking method includes: when charging of an electric vehicle is needed, performing: i) before providing a parking space to the electric vehicle, guiding, by a parking infrastructure, the electric vehicle to autonomously drive to a charging service zone, and ii) after charging of the electric vehicle is completed in the charging service zone, guiding, by the parking infrastructure, the electric vehicle to autonomously drive from the charging service zone to a first empty parking space in the parking lot. In particular, guiding the electric vehicle to the charging service zone before providing a parking space to the electric vehicle comprises: setting an empty space in the charging service zone as a first target position; and transmitting to the electric vehicle the first target position and a first guide route that guides the electric vehicle to the empty space in the charging service zone.
