    Abstract: A charging system for a vehicle includes: a power transmitter transmitting power for charging a battery of a vehicle; a charger including a three-phase motor and inverter, and receiving the power from the power transmitter; an input voltage calculating processor selecting any one of a plurality of predetermined duty ratios and calculating a value of an input voltage supplied to the charger based on the selected duty ratio and a voltage value of the battery of the vehicle; an input current calculating processor calculating a value of an input current based on the calculated value of the input voltage and a value of the power transmitted by the power transmitter; a power transmission controller instructing the calculated input current to be input to the charger; and a charging controller instructing the battery of the vehicle to be charged.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a fault diagnosis apparatus of a rapid charging system for a vehicle including an external device configured to exchange power with a vehicle battery, a power transfer unit including a three-phase motor, an inverter connected to the battery in parallel and connected to the three-phase motor, and one or more relays connected to the three-phase motor and configured to transfer power between the external device and the battery, and a controller configured to control the on and off functions of the relay, to control driving of the inverter to generate voltages applied to one end of each of the relays, and to diagnose fault of relays by comparing voltages of both ends of the relays while turning the relays on/off.

    Abstract: An apparatus for compensating for a position error of a resolver has a controller which is configured to: receive position information of a rotor of a motor, which is detected by the resolver, to measure a first position error, convert the first position error to a second position error at an electrical angular velocity of 0, and to store the second position error; receive a current electrical angular velocity and the second position error, convert the second position error to a third position error at the current electrical angular velocity, and compensate for the third position error; and perform determination of false position error compensation when a magnitude of a ripple at an electrical angular velocity, which is measured after the third position error has been compensated for, is equal to or greater than a reference magnitude.

    Abstract: A dual inverter control method is capable of improving power efficiency of an inverter and a motor by controlling a dual inverter through 6-step control to apply a voltage to the motor in a motor driving system using the dual inverter. The dual inverter control method for controlling first and second inverters having output terminals commonly connected to a motor includes comparing all voltage commands for driving the motor with the magnitude of a DC voltage commonly applied to the first and second inverters; and generating a first voltage command with respect to an output of the first inverter and a second voltage command with respect to an output of the second inverter by selectively applying high gain over voltage modulation (HOVM) depending on a comparison result.
