摘要： Apparatus which finds particular application in a tuning device of the type which is tunable to different broadcast frequencies and which includes a scale provided with indicia corresponding to such broadcast frequencies and a pointer movable across the scale to indicate the particular broadcast frequency to which the tuning apparatus is tuned, the pointer being supported by a movable support which is guided by a guide shaft. A plurality of markers are slidably guided along at least one guide rail and are individually settable to desired locations adjacent the scale, thereby representing particular broadcast frequencies to which the tuning device is tunable. A key also is slidable along the guide shaft with the movable support, the key being selectively operative to engage a desired one of the markers to move the engaged marker therewith as the support is moved, whereby the marker is set to a desired position by reason of its engagement with the key. The apparatus includes a rotatable support for receiving and supporting the guide shaft, which shaft has a longitudinal groove therein for receiving a nub provided on the rotatable support. The rotatable support is, in turn, rotated in a support structure therefor by at least one finger which is in engagement with the rotatable support. An operating member, disposed remotely from the finger, is coupled to the finger by a flexible transmission means to move the finger; whereby the rotatable support is driven to rotate the guide shaft and, thus, the key to engage the latter with a desired marker.

摘要： A presettable tuning apparatus includes a digital tuner; a source of digital signals representing radio frequencies to which the tuning apparatus is respectively tuned; an addressable memory having a plurality of sequentially addressable storage locations therein for storing selected ones of the digital signals; write-in circuitry for selectively writing the digital signals from the source into selected ones of the storage locations in the memory; a comparator circuit for comparing the digital signals stored in an adjacent pair of the sequentially addressable storage locations and providing a control signal indicating the relative values of the frequencies represented by such digital signals; and circuitry for replacing the digital signals stored in the pair of storage locations with one another when the control signal indicates that the frequency represented by the digital signal stored in the lower-address one of the pair of storage locations is higher than that represented by the signal stored in the higher-address one of the pair. The apparatus thereby automatically rearranges the particular storage locations in which the digital signals are stored so that the order of the frequencies represented thereby corresponds to the sequential order of the storage locations, notwithstanding that the digital signals can be written at random into the addressable memory.

A key also is slidable along the guide shaft with the movable support, the key being selectively operative to engage a desired one of the markers to move the engaged marker therewith as the support is moved, whereby the marker is set to a desired position by reason of its engagement with the key. Tuning circuitry having a controllable oscillator for generating an oscillating signal whose frequency is variable and determinative of the broadcast frequency to which the tuning apparatus is tuned is enabled to produce an output representing received information when the movable support is moved to an aligned position with a respective one of the markers. Thus, the tuning apparatus can be rapidly tuned to any preset broadcast frequency as represented by the particular marker with which the pointer is aligned.

摘要： An operating switch panel, such as for an audio equipment tuner, utilizes a metal plate which is divided into a plurality of operating parts by simultaneous etching from both sides. Connecting parts remain between individual operating parts. Thin hinges are formed on the operating parts by etching from the back surface of the metal plate, dividing each operating part into two stationary and movable parts. The stationary parts are connected to each other through the connecting parts. Display parts in the form of recesses are formed on the surface of the metal plate respectively at each operating part. Projections are formed on the back surfaces of the movable parts for engaging associated switches. A number of operating parts can be arranged close to each other in a simplified and economical manufacturing process.

摘要： A tuning apparatus includes a dial plate marked with broadcast frequencies thereon, a guide shaft provided in parallel with the dial plate, a substrate having a resistive layer thereon, the resistive layer having varying resistance values distributed therealong which correspond to the broadcast frequencies on the dial plate, the resistive layer being supplied with a DC voltage at opposite ends thereof, a plurality of markers, each slidably disposed with respect to the dial plate to indicate a predetermined broadcast frequency, and each having a first engaging portion and a first electrically conductive slide element for slidably contacting the resistive layer to detect a predetermined DC voltage in response to the location of the markers, a mounting member slidably disposed on the guide shaft in parallel with the dial plate, and including a display member extending therefrom toward the dial plate to indicate a manually selected broadcast frequency, a second electrically conductive slide element for slidably contacting the resistive layer to detect a predetermined DC voltage in response to the location of the mounting member, and a sleeve member slidably mounted on the guide shaft and including a projecting portion adapted to engage the engaging portions of the markers, and a switching circuit supplied with the DC voltages from the first and second slide elements and selectively supplying one of the DC voltages to a tuning circuit as a tuning control voltage.
