    摘要: A Network Reporting Entity (NRE) and a User Equipment (UE) as well as a respective method therein for use in a wireless communication network for enabling controlling data transfer between the UE and a network cache are provided. The NRE receives, from the UE, a request to start reporting network status and transmits, to the UE, information regarding the status of the network, the information pertaining to whether network condition is in a state where a data transfer is preferred or not, wherein the NRE obtains the information regarding the status of the network from the Network Conditions Information Entity (NCIE). In this manner, the UE is enabled to control the data transfer between the UE and the network cache.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for sending user plane traffic via a node located between a base station and a Serving Gateway in a mobile telecommunications network. The base station receives a message containing tunneling protocol information identifying the Serving Gateway. It sends a second message towards the node, the second message including tunneling protocol information identifying the base station and the Serving Gateway. The base station receives a third message from the node, the third message including tunneling protocol information for the base station to use towards the node, and tunneling protocol information for the Serving Gateway to use towards the node. A fourth message is sent, which includes tunneling protocol information for the Serving Gateway to use towards the node. User plane traffic can then be sent between the base station and the Serving Gateway via the node.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for data compression in a mobile communication network. A node performing data compression on a downlink towards a mobile terminal compresses data based on an identity of a decompression node. A determination is made that the mobile terminal is no longer receiving data from the decompression node owing to mobility the mobile terminal. An identity of a further decompression node from which the mobile terminal receives data is determined, and data is compressed based on the identity of the further decompression node. The node performing compression can therefore dynamically adapt to mobility of the terminal, potentially resulting in a shorter learning phase.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a to a receiving network node, a transmitting network node and to methods therein. In particular, it relates to controlling of caching information for a radio bearer for a UE located in a wireless communications network. The receiving network node (100) controls caching of information in a wireless communications network (1) comprising the receiving network node (100) and a transmitting network node (200). The receiving network node (100) is capable of serving, on one or more radio bearers, one or more UEs (2), located in the wireless communications network (1). The receiving network node (100) comprises one or more transceivers (110), hereinafter only one transceiver (110) is considered for simplicity, a processor circuit (120) and a control circuit (130). The transceiver (110) is configured to receive a configuration message, from the transmitting network node (200), the configuration message including a caching indicator associated with a radio bearer for a UE (2). The transceiver (110) may further be configured to receive a configuration message including a caching indicator associated with an established radio bearer and/or a radio bearer to be established for the UE.
