The present invention relates to the use of myeloid cell biomarkers for the differential diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) or colorectal cancer (CRC). The present invention furthermore relates to monitoring the effect of a treatment against renal cell carcinoma (RCC) or colorectal cancer (CRC), and establishing a prognosis of the outcome of the treatment of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) or colorectal cancer (CRC). The present invention furthermore relates to panels of cellular biomarkers for use in the above methods, in particular multicolor panels for measuring said biomarkers.

An exemplary database management device includes a database storage memory for storing database information. A user access memory at least temporarily stores information to be included in the database. At least a portion of the user access memory is configured to operate as a database manager that allows a user to indicate an intended change to the database information. The database manager places the intended change into the user access memory and determines whether the intended change complies with a criterion responsive to the user attempting to implement the intended change. The database manager makes the intended change to the database information in the database storage memory if the intended change complies with the criterion. The database manager provides an indication that the intended change will not be made to the database and the database storage memory if the intended change does not comply with the criterion.

An event-driven multi-factor authentication system for internet transactions is implemented in a communication system including a user platform operably connected to an application platform. In embodiments described herein, the application platform receives and evaluates event data associated with one or more online transactions of the user to identify occurrences of any triggering events; and upon occurrences of triggering events, identifies and issues one or more predefined authentication challenges corresponding to the triggering events. The triggering events may comprise, without limitation, amount-based events, time-based events or geography-based events. In such manner, for example, multi-factor authentications may be triggered for transactions having specified monetary amounts, amounts within a specified time period, or initiated from certain geographic locations. The authentication challenges may characterize different numbers of authentication challenges (including, without limitation, a combination of single- and multi-factor authentication) for different events.

The present invention relates to peptides, nucleic acids and cells for use in immunotherapeutic methods. In particular, the present invention relates to the immunotherapy of cancer. The present invention furthermore relates to tumour-associated T-helper cell peptide epitopes, alone or in combination with other tumour-associated peptides that serve as active pharmaceutical ingredients of vaccine compositions which stimulate anti-tumour immune responses. The present invention relates to novel peptide sequences and their variants derived from HLA class I and class II molecules of human tumour cells which can be used in vaccine compositions for eliciting anti-tumour immune responses.

The present invention is directed to a system and method for the assisted entry of database schema entries. Schema input data is first received from an associated user and tested for acceptability. When the schema input data is unacceptable following the testing, the associated user is then prompted for corrected schema input data. The presence of software tools required to implement the schema instructions specified by the schema input data is then tested and a signal is generated when such required software is absent. A representation of the complete schema is then generated, including the schema input data, and the associated user is prompted to confirm the acceptability of the complete schema setup. The associated user then confirms the acceptability of the complete schema setup and the schema input data is then communicated, following user confirmation, to an associated database server for implementation.

The present invention relates to immunotherapeutic peptides and their use in immunotherapy, in particular the immunotherapy of cancer. The present invention discloses tumour-associated T-helper cell peptide epitopes, alone or in combination with other tumour-associated peptides that serve as active pharmaceutical ingredients of vaccine compositions which stimulate anti-tumour immune responses. In particular, the composition of the peptides of the present invention can be used in vaccine compositions for eliciting anti-tumour immune responses against colorectal cancer.

The subject application is directed to a system and method for customizing a document processor interface. A user successfully logs onto a document processing device and selects to generate a customized graphical user-interface. When the user has previously created such an interface, the device retrieves stored selection data associated with the user and uses such data to selectively generate a customized interface. To create the customized interface, the user first selects desired functions to be displayed. The selected functions are then stored in association with user identification information by the device. A tangible output document is capable of being generated inclusive of encoded indicia representing selection data and user identification information. Subsequent scanning of the tangible output document by the device, or another document processing device, enables the scanning device to authenticate the user and generate a customized interface in accordance with the selection data contained in the encoded indicia.
