Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a personalized entity repository. For example, a computing device comprises a personalized entity repository having fixed sets of entities from an entity repository stored at a server, a processor, and memory storing instructions that cause the computing device to identify fixed sets of entities that are relevant to a user based on context associated with the computing device, rank the fixed sets by relevancy, and update the personalized entity repository using selected sets determined based on the rank and on set usage parameters applicable to the user. In another example, a method includes generating fixed sets of entities from an entity repository, including location-based sets and topic-based sets, and providing a subset of the fixed sets to a client, the client requesting the subset based on the client's location and on items identified in content generated for display on the client.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for determining an engagement profile of a participant by associating electronic activities to a profile. It may generate the engagement profile based on analysis of the electronic activity level. An example implementation may contain the following steps. The system may access for a first record object a plurality of electronic activities linked with the first record object. The system may identify for a participant from the plurality of electronic activities a set of electronic activities including the participant. The system may determine an engagement profile of the participant based on a first number of electronic activities of the set of electronic activities sent by the participant, a second number of the set of electronic activities received by the participant and a temporal distribution of the set of electronic activities. The system may store the engagement profile in one or more data structures.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and storage media for detecting events based on updates to node profiles from electronic activities. Exemplary implementations may access an electronic activity transmitted or received via an electronic account associated with a data source provider; generate a plurality of activity field-value pairs; maintain a plurality of node profiles; identify a first state of a first node profile of the plurality of node profiles; update the first node profile using the electronic activity; identify a second state of the first node profile subsequent to updating the first node profile using the electronic activity; detect a state change of the first node profile based on the first state and the second state; determine that the state change satisfies an event condition; and store an association between the first node profile and an event type corresponding to the event condition.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for synchronizing data in a source system to an application without relying on middleware. An embodiment operates by performing an initial load of records for an object for an application from a source system, thereby retrieving a first set of records. The embodiment first maps the first set of records to the object using a transform template. The embodiment creates the object in the application using the first set of records based on the first mapping. The embodiment performs a delta load of records for the object from the source system, thereby retrieving a second set of records. The embodiment second maps the second set of records to the object using the transform template. The embodiment then updates the object using the second set of records based on the second mapping.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for efficiently maintaining a transaction sequence witness service to ensure that requests to read data provide consistent results across all storage nodes in a distributed system. Each storage node that stores data in response to a particular update event may first update the transaction sequence witness service with the sequence number for the update event. Thus, any other storage node that services a subsequent request for the data will be able to see, via the transaction sequence witness service, the sequence number that must be available on the storage node to respond to the request.

Abstract: A map-reduce compatible distributed file system that consists of successive component layers that each provide the basis on which the next layer is built provides transactional read-write-update semantics with file chunk replication and huge file-create rates. Containers provide the fundamental basis for data replication, relocation, and transactional updates. A container location database allows containers to be found among all file servers, as well as defining precedence among replicas of containers to organize transactional updates of container contents. Volumes facilitate control of data placement, creation of snapshots and mirrors, and retention of a variety of control and policy information. Also addressed is the use of distributed transactions in a map-reduce system; the use of local and distributed snapshots; replication, including techniques for reconciling the divergence of replicated data after a crash; and mirroring.
