摘要： There is provided a method of saving power and a radio terminal equipment arrangement comprising a cellular core unit and at least one peripheral unit. The peripheral unit comprises a control unit for controlling the functions of the peripheral unit, and a transceiver for sending a message for requesting cellular related information to the cellular core unit when an application requiring a cellular connection is activated by the peripheral unit. The cellular core unit is configured to send cellular related information to the peripheral unit when the message for requesting cellular related information has been received, and the control unit for controlling functions of the peripheral unit is configured to notify cellular related information in the peripheral unit based on the received cellular related information from the cellular core unit.

摘要： A method for loading a dumper with broken rock or the like and an apparatus for implementing the method. In the method, a loading area is defined for the dumper. The dumper is stopped at the loading area at a predefined position for loading. An emptying area is correspondingly defined in advance for a loader for transporting the material in its bucket onto the dumper box. The apparatus includes a controller for controlling the dumper at least during loading, and the controller includes means for stopping the dumper for loading at the predefined position so that the material transported by the loader can be emptied onto the dumper box in a predefined location in the longitudinal direction.

摘要： Apparatus, and an associated method, for compensating for variable delays in the communication of packet data to a receiving station during, for example, a VOIP (Voice-Over-Internet Protocol) communication session. Compensation is made for surges of data received at the receiving station subsequent to a congestion condition. A jitter buffer and a trimming buffer are both utilized to buffer data packets thereat. The data buffered at the trimming buffer is selectably trimmed in a manner to permit the informational content of the data received at the receiving station to be recovered without introducing significant delay times in the recovery of the informational content.

摘要： The invention relates to mobile communication systems using wireless network cells inside a vehicle, such as an aircraft, other airborne vessel, ship or train while aboard, and using satellite communications between the cells inside the vehicle and the terrestrial communication system. According to the invention there is an emulator functionality provided at both ends of the satellite communication link. The emulator is capable of providing required state signalling without a connection between the base station and the base station controller, and therefore the satellite communication link can be switched to off state when it is not needed for transferring calls or other information. The invention also provides a possibility to use alternative satellite connections depending on the location of the vehicle.

Subsequent to handover of communications from the source to the target radio gateways, a default frame is generated at the target gateway. The default frame is forwarded to a communication station operable pursuant to a communication session with a mobile station, the communication session of which has been handed over from the source to the target radio gateway. The default frame identifies, to the communication station, the identity of the target gateway. Thereby, the communication station is informed that the target gateway is the address to which additional data generated at the communication station is to be routed.
