    摘要: A parking brake actuator generates and applies a braking force to a vehicle wheel by converting a rotation movement of a screw member which is rotated by an electric parking brake driving device into a translatory movement and transmitting the converted translatory movement to a piston to push a brake pad to a disc by the piston. The electric parking brake driving device includes an electric motor and a reduction gear mechanism which transmits the driving force of the electric motor to the electric parking brake driving device. The reduction gear mechanism includes a pinion gear fixed to an output shaft of the electric motor, a first gear shaft rotatably supported on a first bearing member provided on a gear body and a first wheel gear formed on the first gear shaft and engaging the first wheel gear to thereby reduce the speed of driving force of the electric motor.

    摘要: A capping device for an ink jet recorder is provided with a support frame of substantially L-shaped cross-section contained in a frame and supporting an ink absorbing member inside thereof, and a throttle plate in contact with the underside of the absorbing member and disposed substantially parallel to the support frame, the capping device being so disposed that the rear end edge of the throttle plate opposite to a recording head is situated vertically below the side edge surface of the recording head. The specification also discloses an ink jet recording apparatus having such capping device. (FIGS. 1 and 6-8). A flow path for directing liquid squeezed from the absorbing member has upper and lower stages, the upper stage having a sufficiently large diameter that a liquid meniscus does not form and the lower stage having a small diameter that permits a meniscus to form.     摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus has a recording head for discharging ink and effecting recording, a recording flow path communicating the recording head with one end of a first ink tank, a pump side flow path communicating the first ink tank with the recording head through a pump and, together with the recording flow path, constituting an ink circulation path through the head and the first ink tank, and a secnd ink tank for supplying ink to the first ink tank. Normally open electrical opening-closing means (FIG. 11) are provided in the recording flow path and in a tube for opening the first ink tank to atmosphere. Another normally open electrical opening-closing means and a check valve permitting the passage of ink from the pump only to the recording head, this latter opening-closing means and the check valve being interposed in series in the pump side flow path between the pump and the recording head. The apparatus also may include an overflow sensor (FIGS. 9 and 10) for detecting the amount of ink that has overflowed from the first ink tank and a water hammer damper (FIG. 14) that absorbs fluid shocks in the pump side flow path. The second ink tank may have excised portions (FIGS. 15, 16 and 18) to ensure that color ink tanks are properly mounted to the apparatus.
