Abstract:
A printer and corresponding method of printing a selected plurality of horticultural identification tags comprising providing a printing system having a housing comprising a first printer, a second printer, a tag creasing mechanism and a tag separating mechanism where a supply of unprinted tags on a continuous roll and connected along a first side to a subsequent tag are directed to an automatic feed mechanism configured to feed at least a first tag through an inlet in the housing to the first printer and printing a selected image on a first side of the tag. Flipping the tag to expose a reserve, unprinted side and feeding the first tag to a second printer for printing a selected image on a reverse side of the tag and flipping the tag to expose the first printed side and automatically feeding the printed tag to a mechanism configured to crease a selected portion of the tag. Providing the tag to a cutter configured to cut a first side of the tag to separate the tag from a subsequent tag and collecting the printed and cut tags in a stack.
Abstract:
A main substrate which is arranged in one end section of a main apparatus body in the width direction is horizontally arranged using a free space in one end section of the mechanical component arrangement area in a main apparatus body in the width direction. A plurality of relay substrates are vertically provided in the upper-side position of the main substrate in the mechanical component arrangement area, and the main substrate is connected to the plurality of relay substrates through FFCs connected to respective connectors. A plurality of connectors are provided on the two relay substrates in order to connect to wirings from a printer mechanism section.
Abstract:
A recording apparatus includes a transport roller that transports a sheet by a predetermined transportation amount along a transportation path, a printing unit that records an image on the sheet being transported in synchronization with driving of the transport roller, a position detecting mechanism that detects whether an installation position is vertical installation or horizontal installation, and a transportation amount correcting unit that corrects a transportation amount depending on the detection result of the position detecting mechanism.
Abstract:
A multi-function printer including a body, a door, a feeding module, a transmission module, and a cam assembly is provided. The door is assembled to the body being opened or closed relative to the body. The feeding module and the transmission module are disposed in the body. The feeding module has a driving gear. The transmission module has a swim arm with an end connected to the driving gear. The cam assembly is movably disposed in the body and configured between the door and the transmission module. The cam assembly is in a moving range of the swim arm, and the door is in a moving range of the cam assembly. When the driving gear rotates in a direction, the other end of the swim arm is engaged to the cam assembly, and drives the cam assembly to push the door open.
Abstract:
A recording apparatus includes a recording section that performs recording on a recording medium, a housing that stores the recording section, a recording medium cassette that is detachably mounted on the housing and has a cassette body that holds the recording medium in the vertical position, and a holder that holds the recording medium that has been fed from the cassette body and has been recorded in the recording section on the outer surface of the cassette body in the vertical position.
Abstract:
A multi-function printer including a body, a door, a carriage, and a pushing lever is provided. The door assembled to the body being opened or closed relative to the body. The carriage and the pushing lever are movably disposed in the body, wherein the pushing lever moves between a first and a second positions relative to the body. The pushing lever located at the first position has an end on a moving path of the carriage, and the door is on a moving path of the other end of the pushing lever. When the carriage moves to a pushing segment, the carriage drives the pushing lever to move from the first position to the second position, such that the pushing lever pushes open the door relative to the body.

Abstract:
A printer is provided having housing, and print head and inlet roller assemblies housed by the housing. The print head assembly has at least one print head for printing on print media fed along a print media feed path and the print head has an arcuate portion in the vicinity of the print media feed path. The inlet roller assembly has at least one inlet roller for feeding print media along the print media feed path. The arcuate portion of the print head has a radius of curvature approximating that of the inlet roller.
Abstract:
A technology is provided that suppresses a noise that an image forming apparatus makes in the course of an operation thereof from interfering with a user who is watching television. When a printer 203 receives a print command, the printer 203 performs a print job as per a normal mode if a commercial is being displayed on a digital TV 201. If what is being displayed on the digital TV 201 is not the commercial, the printer 203 suspends the print job until the commercial begins to be displayed.
Abstract:
A modular printer includes a frame. A housing in which the frame is housed has an operatively upper and an operatively lower cover and defines a print media inlet at one end between the covers and a print media outlet at an opposite end between the covers. An inlet roller assembly is mounted on the frame proximate the print media inlet for feeding a web of print media into the housing. A pair of opposed inkjet printhead assemblies are mounted on the frame downstream of the inlet roller assembly to define a printing zone between the printhead assemblies. The inlet roller assembly is configured to feed the web of print media between the printhead assemblies. An exit roller assembly is mounted on the frame proximate the print media outlet to feed the web of print media from the outlet. Each inkjet printhead assembly includes a series of substantially identical printhead modules, the modules of each printhead assembly being a mirrored replication of the modules of the other printhead assembly.
