To guarantee that they are held together better, stacks (10) of blanks are surrounded by a strip-shaped wrapping (11). In the region of a wrappings station (19), these are severed by a horizontally movable knife (23). The knife (23) enters into the upper area of an upright limb (12) of the wrapping (11), between upper blanks of the stack (10) of blanks, and is moved along a guide rail (25) whilst severing the wrapping (11). The latter is subsequently drawn away downward by a drawing force.

The stacks of blanks (10), provided if necessary with a band label (11), are aligned on the pallet (12) in rows (13) and disposed in a plurality of layers (16) the one above the other. A pick-up head (18) serves to unload the stacks and is movable on a support structure (19), configured like a portal, in a vertical and in a horizontal direction. The pick-up head (18) grasps respectively one group of stacks of blanks (10) and sets same down on an onward conveyor (14).

    摘要: A noise control method is provided for a cooling system having at least one refrigerant circuit. The refrigerant circuit includes a compressor, a condenser, at least one condenser fan, and an evaporator. Noise control is only performed periodically in response to requirements for reduced operation at predetermined times. The request for reduced noise triggers the commencement of the noise control method. The noise control method involves reducing the operating speed of the compressor, as well as reducing the operating speed of at least one condenser fan, to within a predetermined range of allowable reduced operating speeds. The noise control method temporarily overrides the ability of the cooling system to fully respond to increased cooling or heating demands. When the noise control method is terminated, such as by the end of the stated period of time requiring reduced noise generation, the system is restored to normal operation, and remains fully responsive to cooling and heating demand until commencement of the next period of reduced noise requirements.
