    摘要: An optical member includes a light incident surface, a light exiting surface and a plurality of luminance uniformity enhancing members. The light exiting surface is opposite the light incident surface. The luminance uniformity enhancing members are formed on at least one of the light incident surface and the light exiting surface. Each of the luminance uniformity enhancing members includes a recessed surface formed between a first closed loop and a second closed loop surrounding the first closed loop. Therefore, luminance uniformity is enhanced due to the luminance uniformity enhancing member. Furthermore, a distance between a display panel and the backlight assembly may be reduced to decrease volume of a display apparatus, and a luminance of the display apparatus may be enhanced.

    摘要: A compact, light, and uniformly bright backlight assembly and a display device are disclosed. The backlight assembly includes a light source assembly, a substrate, and a transflective member. The light source assembly emits a first light with a first luminance uniformity. Then, the first light passes through the substrate above the light source assembly for producing enhanced luminance uniformity. Again, after the light is reflected from and/or transmitted through the transflective member, the luminance uniformity is even more enhanced. Therefore, the volume, weight, and luminance uniformity of the backlight assembly and the display device are enhanced.

The backlight assembly additionally includes a light adsorption member disposed adjacent to the reflection face to prevent the light from reflecting. A reflection plate and optical sheets are disposed adjacent to the light guide plate, so that entire thickness of the backlight assembly is reduced. In addition, leakage of the light incident around the third light exiting face is prevented to improve the quality of the image displayed through the LCD device.
