    摘要: A liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal layer formed between first and second insulating substrates. A wiring layer, an insulation film and a first orientation layer are formed on the first substrate between it and the liquid crystal layer. A electrode layer and a second orientation film are formed on the second substrate between it and the liquid crystal layer. The wiring layer includes grooves along its peripheral portion which allow the insulation film to contact the first substrate, which promotes bonding and inhibits peeling of the insulation film from the wiring layer.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal layer formed between first and second insulating substrates. A wiring layer, an insulation film and a first orientation layer are formed on the first substrate between it and the liquid crystal layer. A electrode layer and a second orientation film are formed on the second substrate between it and the liquid crystal layer.     摘要: After a gate line (11), a TFT (1), and a data line (30) are formed, a riblike protective insulation layer (32) which coats the data line is formed on a substrate (10) serving as the element substrate of an active matrix type color liquid crystal display device or an organic EL display device. A color filter layer (42) on a transfer film (40) is press-bonded on this substrate (10) with a roller (46) moving in the extensional direction (columnar direction) of the protecting insulation layer (32). The advancement of the transfer of a color filter in the columnar direction makes it possible to bring the substrate and the color filter in contact without gaps while expelling the gas out of a pixel space in the advancement direction. During the step of forming a color filter, the protecting insulation layer (32) protects the data line (30) from the treatment liquid etc. An organic light emitting element layer is arranged in the pixel space to form an organic EL display device.

The system compares pixels of each (or a first) field that forms an interlaced image with pixels of a third field one frame before the first field to calculate a difference absolute value, uses the threshold values to determine a distribution bias of the difference absolute value, detects, from the interlaced image, a repeated field candidate that occurs once in a five field cycle and fields other than the repeated field, and determines, based on a regularity of repeated field occurrence, whether each repeated field candidate is the repeated field. If any repeated field candidate is not the repeated field, the system controls the threshold values.

    摘要: In a liquid crystal display having liquid crystal sealed between first and second substrates opposing one another, the first substrate is provided with data lines (56) formed overlapping pixel electrodes (58). By forming color filters (1) in a layer between the data lines (56) and the pixel electrodes (58), the distance between the data lines (56) and the pixel electrodes (58) is increased, reducing parasitic capacitance generated therebetween. Effective voltage application to the pixel electrodes (58) is thereby accomplished, allowing increase in contrast. No decrease in transmittance is caused because the thickness of the planarizing film (2) is not increased.
