摘要： The present invention relates to an ink for ink-jetting containing at least a coloring material, water soluble organic solvent and water, comprising:0.01-5.0% by weight of alkylene oxide adduct of acetylene glycol, represented by the formula (A): ##STR1## (in which R.sub.1 -R.sub.4, are respectively an lower alkyl group; l is an integer of 2 or 3; and m and n are respectively an integer of 1 or more);6.0-14.0% by weight of a compound selected from the group consisting of a polyalcohol having three hydroxy groups, alkylene glycols represented by the formula (B):HO(C.sub.x H.sub.2x O).sub.y H (B) (in which x and y is respectively an integer, provided that x is 2 or more and x and y have a relation of 2.ltoreq.X.times.y.ltoreq.6), and a mixture thereof;4.0-10.0% by weight of a lower alkyl ether of alkylene glycol represented by the formula (C):HO(C.sub.p H.sub.2p O).sub.q R (C) (in which R is a lower alkyl group, p and q is respectively an integer, provided that p is 2 or more and p and q have a relation of 2.ltoreq.p.times.q.ltoreq.6), or a mixture thereof,2.0-8.0% by weight of polyalkylene glycol having a molecular weight of 150-600; and water,% by weight being based on total weight of the ink.

摘要： The present invention relates to an ink jet recording apparatus using an electrostatic actuator. The present invention provides an ink jet recording apparatus comprising a resilient oscillating plate that is facing a pressure chamber that communicates with a nozzle, a first electrode provided on said oscillating plate, a second electrode opposing said first electrode across a space, and a voltage application unit that applies across the first electrode and the second electrode a first voltage that causes the ink in said pressure chamber to be ejected and a second voltage that does not cause the ink to be ejected, wherein said second voltage is applied a specified time prior to the application of the first voltage, so that the residual electrical charges on the first electrode and/or the second electrode can be positively discharged.

摘要： An ink jet printer includes a piezoelectric element, and a voltage generation device for applying a voltage to the piezoelectric element. The voltage generation device applies a pulse voltage having a rising edge, a constant amplitude holding portion, and a falling edge for driving a piezoelectric element, whereby ink dots of a plurality of diameters are printed out to reproduce a half tone image. The waveform of the pulse voltage has the voltage boosted more gentle as the pulse amplitude becomes greater. The sudden strain of a piezoelectric element is prevented. An ink droplet of a particularly great diameter can be sprayed out stably. The conventionally encountered satellite dot, dot split noise, and ink hit position offset are prevented.
