摘要: A receiving apparatus for receiving an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal including a frame having one frame length of a plurality of patterns. The apparatus comprises an acquiring section to acquire information regarding a preamble signal from an OFDM signal from a transmitting apparatus; a frame determining section to determine whether the one frame length is short in the frame based on the information regarding the acquired preamble signal; and a time interpolating section to obtain transmission path characteristics by comparing a pilot contained in the preamble signal with a known pilot corresponding to the pilot in a phase of transmission, when the frame determining section determines that the one frame length is short in the frame, and to interpolate a data portion in a time direction based on transmission path characteristics.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a receiving apparatus for receiving an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal, namely, OFDM signal having a frame having one frame length of a plurality of patterns, including: an acquiring section configured to acquire information on a preamble signal from the OFDM signal transmitted from a transmitting apparatus in accordance with an OFDM system; a frame determining section configured to determine whether or not the one frame length is short in the frame based on the information on the preamble signal acquired from the acquiring section; and a time interpolating section configured to obtain transmission path characteristics by comparing a pilot contained in the preamble signal and a known pilot corresponding to the pilot in a phase of transmission with each other when the frame determining section determines that the one frame length is short in the frame, and interpolate a data portion in a time direction based on the transmission path characteristics thus obtained.

摘要: Disclosed are a receiving apparatus, a receiving method, and a program capable of reliably obtaining predetermined information. In a case where a broadband signal where the same control information is arranged in different frequency bands is received and processed, a frequency where the control information is stably received is detected, and the control information is obtained again using the detected frequency. This frequency detection is performed by detecting a frequency capable of avoiding a no-signal band in a signal array of the broadband signal determined based on the obtained control information and the like. This technology can be applied to a receiving apparatus that receives a signal conforming to a DVB-C2 standard.

摘要: The present technology relates to a receiving device, a receiving method, a program, and a receiving system which may improve reception performance in the case of receiving a signal with a variable frequency band. A receiving device according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a demodulation unit configured to convert a received signal to a baseband signal in the case where a first frequency differs from a second frequency, wherein the first frequency is a center frequency in a band of the received signal, the second frequency is a center frequency in a band of a desired signal included in a part of the band of the received signal, and a DC component of the baseband signal is to be a frequency in the vicinity of the second frequency. The present technology may be applied to a receiver which receives an OFDM signal of DVB-C2.
