摘要: A suspension cross member comprises a middle-portion attaching member which extends upwardly from a suspension cross member body, and a pipe-shaped attaching member which is supported at a support portion provided at an upper portion of the middle-portion attaching member. A side portion, in a vehicle width direction, a front portion and a rear portion, in a vehicle longitudinal direction, of a side face portion of the attaching member are supported at the support portion. A lower portion of the attaching member is supported at the support portion with a specified support rigidity, in the vehicle longitudinal direction, which is lower than that of the supporting of the side portion, the front portion or the rear portion of the side face portion of the attaching member.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to effectively ensure the rigidity of supporting a front suspension with a simple configuration, without increasing the weight of a vehicle body.In a suspension mounting structure for a vehicle in which a front suspension is supported by sub frames 3, the sub frames 3 have a pair of right and left side sub frames 9 that extend in a front-rear direction of a vehicle in lower parts of front side frames 2; and a rear sub cross member 11 that couples rear end parts of the right and left side frames 9 to each other. Rear parts of the sub frames 9 are provided with: lower arm supporting parts for swingably and elastically displaceably supporting lower arms 41 of the front suspension; first fixing parts 31 that rigidly bond a rear end part of the rear sub cross member 11 to a bottom surface of a vehicle body; and second fixing parts 40 that rigidly bond side end parts of the rear sub cross member 11 to the bottom surface of the vehicle body at positions that are offset outward from the first fixing parts 31 in a vehicle width direction.

摘要: A positioning pin and a bolt hole positioned near this pin are provided at a plate-shaped rear-portion attachment face portion of a suspension cross member. A positioning hole having the positioning pin inserted thereinto and a bolt hole positioned near this positioning hole are provided at a tunnel frame on the side of a vehicle. The rear-portion attachment face portion and the tunnel frame are fastened by a bolt inserting into the bolt holes together with a nut. Accordingly, the support rigidity of the suspension cross member during the normal vehicle traveling can be secured and the smooth retreat of the power unit to restrain the collision load from having bad influence on passengers in the vehicle frontal collision can be achieved.

摘要: In a lower vehicle-body structure of a vehicle, there is provided a rear connecting member swingably supporting a rear portion of a lower arm at a sub frame and a front side frame, the rear connecting member comprising a support portion to support the lower arm, a fifth connection portion to connect the sub frame and the support portion, and a fourth connection portion to connect the front side frame and the support portion. Further, there is provided a separation mechanism to separate the fourth connection portion off the front side frame in the vehicle frontal collision. Accordingly, the sub frame and the lower arm are separated off the front side frame by the separation mechanism.

摘要: A seat belt system for a vehicle for restraining an occupant in a first seat mounted in a passenger compartment of the vehicle, the vehicle including an opening formed on at least one side of a vehicular body. The seat belt system includes a belt webbing having a first and second end. A retractor is disposed at a door of the vehicle for retracting the first end of the belt webbing. A lap-anchor device is disposed at the door of the vehicle for fixedly supporting the belt webbing below and outward of the first seat. The lap-anchor device includes an anchor bracket and a moving device. The anchor bracket is connected with the second end of the belt webbing. The anchor bracket includes an engaging portion which communicates with an engageable portion provided at the vehicular body below the opening. The anchor bracket is also movable between a first position above the lower edge of the door where the anchor bracket does not impede the opening and closing motion of the door and a second position below the lower edge of the opening where the engaging portion engages the engaged portion when the door is closed. The moving device moves the anchor bracket between the first position and the second position.
