摘要： Laser light is emitted to a sheet member wound on a forming drum in a range which includes the entire width of the sheet member and distance data on a distance to a reflecting surface is obtained, using a two-dimensional laser sensor which has a detection range along a drum circumferential direction, while moving either the two-dimensional laser sensor or the forming drum in a drum width direction. Further, the positions of width-directional opposite end sections of the sheet member are calculated on the basis of the obtained distance data.

摘要： A fuel filler system for use in a vehicle is provided. The system includes a fuel filler tube, a locking bracket coupled to an inner surface of the fuel filler tube, and a closure device coupleable within the tube end and including an outer wall and a radially movable tab extending from the outer wall. The tab engages the locking bracket after rotation of the closure device from a first rotational position to a second rotational position to prevent rotation of the closure device relative to the locking bracket. The closure device further includes a web flexibly connecting the tab to the outer wall and a region of weakness defined in the web, such that upon forcible rotation of the closure device from the second rotational position to the first rotational position, the region of weakness facilitates separation of the web from the outer wall.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member, a plurality of developing devices, a transfer device, a moving device, a color drift detector, a test pattern forming device, and a color drift correction device. The test pattern forming device forms a test pattern on the image bearing member. The color drift correction device corrects the color drift in a separating state in which the image bearing member and the transfer device are separated from each other. The test pattern forming device forms the test pattern again in an area on the image bearing member contacting the transfer device but not pressed by the transfer device after the color drift correction device corrects the color drift in the separating state, and the color drift correction device corrects the color drift in the contact state in which the image bearing member and the transfer device are in contact with each other.

摘要： In a sheet creaser, a sheet set is pushed between a pair of folding rollers to fold the sheet set. Then, a re-pressing roller re-presses the sheet set, which has been folded by the folding rollers, by rolling along the crease. 摘要： The danger of a jib falling off a boom due to an erroneous operation during movement of the jib between a stowage position and an extended position is eliminated. 摘要： A conveying device that conveys a sheet bundle with a flattened back-face portion includes a first conveying unit, a driving unit, and a second conveying unit. The first conveying unit retracts to a position where no driving force is exerted on the sheet bundle before a leading end of the sheet bundle formed in a flat spine shape enters, and abuts on the sheet bundle to exert conveying force after the leading end of the sheet bundle passes a conveying position. The driving unit moves the first conveying unit to retract to the position and to abut on the sheet bundle. The second conveying unit is positioned on an upstream side of the first conveying unit in a sheet bundle conveying direction and conveys the sheet bundle towards the first conveying unit.
