摘要： A vehicle light having a multi-reflex optical system can include a light source, at least one pair of ellipse group reflecting surfaces located so as to substantially surround the light source. Each ellipse group reflecting surface can be symmetrical relative to the light source and have a first focus in the vicinity of the light source, a second focus, and a longitudinal axis perpendicular to an optical axis of the vehicle light. The same number of parabolic group reflecting surfaces as the ellipse group reflecting surfaces can be located substantially linearly, with each parabolic group reflecting surface having a focus on the second focus of the corresponding ellipse group reflecting surface and a longitudinal axis substantially parallel to the optical axis of the vehicle light. At least one shade can be located in the vicinity of one of the second foci of the ellipse group reflecting surfaces to provide a predetermined shape to luminous flux directed from the corresponding ellipse group reflecting surface.

摘要： There is provided a headlamp for a vehicle, comprising a light source; a first reflector formed of a parabolic reflector and having a focal point at which the light source is positioned; a light guide passage to the backside of the first reflector; a second reflector formed of a parabolic reflector and provided outside thereof corresponding to the light guide passage of the first reflector; a third reflector provided in the vicinity of an optical axis of the first It reflector for converging and transmitting a light from the light source to the vicinity of the light guide passage; and a lens provided in front of the first and second reflectors. The headlamp for a vehicle has an improved luminous flux efficiency to the light source and also has a height of about 30 mm in vertical direction, which is an original design which has not conventionally been implemented.

摘要： A headlight includes a beam-type switching device equipped with an electrical power limiting device. The power limiting device can lower operational electrical power after a certain time interval has passed following initial application of operational electrical power to the switching device. The switching device can include an electromagnetic solenoid 5a with a coil. Sufficient electrical current can be applied to the switching device for an initial period when electromagnetic solenoid 5a requires comparatively high operational electrical power, and an electrical power limiting device can lower the electrical power applied to the switching device after a short time period. The size and cost of the switching device can be reduced, overheating can be avoided, and the longevity and reliability of the device can be increased.

摘要： An improved headlight having variable light distribution is provided, where said headlight comprises a reflector divided into an upper movable light distribution reflector and a lower fixed light distribution reflector by a horizontal line located 10 to 30 mm above the optical axis of the light source and the reflector, of which said movable light distribution reflector is rotatable around a vertical rotary axis practically crossing the optical axis of the light source and said fixed light distribution reflector is designed to reflect 50 to 60% of the total quantity of light applied to the reflector. With such an arrangement, the swerving side of the automobile is satisfactorily illuminated by the movable light distribution reflector while a desired frontal light distribution pattern of the headlight is ensured by the fixed light distribution reflector because the two reflectors provide a substantially equal quantity of light.
