    摘要: A PDP and a manufacturing method for the PDP are provided, the PDP being capable of suppressing discharge delay due to improved discharge properties of a protective layer, and exhibiting superior image display performance despite having a high-definition cell structure. A magnesium oxide powder layer (16) is formed by distributing magnesium oxide particles (16a) flatly on a surface layer (8). Each of the magnesium oxide particles (16a) includes halogen atoms at and in a vicinity of the surface thereof. The magnesium oxide particles (16a) are manufactured such that the halogen atoms exist particularly at the surface of each of magnesium oxide particles (16a) through to a depth of 4 nm or less toward the core of each of the magnesium oxide particles (16a).

Provided is a PDP (200) which includes a protective layer (7) formed by MgO and electron-emitting particles constituted of a crystalline compound dispersed on the protective layer (7) to form an electron emission layer (20). The electron-emitting particles are a crystalline compound whose primary components are indium, oxygen, and one or more selected from the group consisting of calcium, strontium, barium, and rare earth metals.

    摘要: The present invention aims to improve efficiency of a PDP by providing a material suitable for improving a secondary electron emission coefficient of the PDP. In order to achieve the aim, in a PDP 200, an electron emission layer 20 is formed by dispersing electron emissive particles including a crystalline compound on a protective layer 7 made of MgO. The crystalline compound is, for example, CaSnO3, SrSnO3, BaSnO3, or a solid solution of two or more of them (e.g. (Ca, Sr)SnO3 and (Sr, Ba)SnO3).

    摘要: An ultrasonic motor includes a stator and a rotor. In the stator, an n number of piezoelectric elements (wherein n is a natural number) are affixed to one surface of a vibrating member, whose outer circumferential edge is circular or polygonal, along a direction in which the outer circumferential edge extends. Each of the piezoelectric elements has a size corresponding to λθ/2 in terms of center angle, and the piezoelectric elements that are adjacent to each other are disposed so as to be separated by an interval corresponding to λθ/4 in terms of the center angle along a circumferential direction of the vibrating member. The piezoelectric elements are polarized in opposite directions in a thickness direction. The rotor is disposed so as to contact the stator, and is rotated by receiving vibration resulting from a 3n-wave traveling wave generated by the stator.

In a gas turbine blade (41), cooling channels (410) provided in the interior thereof include a plurality of straight channel-like base-side elongated holes (401a) that extend in a longitudinal direction at a base side of the turbine blade (41), a plurality of straight channel-like tip-side elongated holes (410b) that extend in a longitudinal direction at a tip side of the turbine blade (41), and a plurality of communicating hollow portions (410c) that are interposed at connection portions between the two types of elongated holes (410a, 410b) to individually allow the two types of elongated holes (410a, 410b) to communicate with each other and that have larger cross-sectional areas than the channel cross-sectional areas of both elongated holes (410a, 410b). In addition, the communicating hollow portions (410c) are formed so as to match the position of a platform portion (413) of the turbine blade (41).

On a lower surface of an oscillating body, (4/3)n piezoelectric elements are provided in order to generate an n-wave travelling wave by combining the two B (1, n) mode standing waves that are out of phase with each other by 90°. When a wavelength of the travelling wave is given by λ, each of the piezoelectric elements has a dimension in a circumferential direction occupying a central angle corresponding to (1/2)λθ, and a plurality of piezoelectric elements are spaced apart from each other at intervals each occupies a central angle corresponding to (1/4)λθ.
