    摘要: In a photographic element for the color diffusion transfer process including a neutralizing system for reducing the pH of an aqueous alkaline processing solution which comprises a neutralizing layer and a timing layer, the improvement which comprises the timing layer comprising a polymer latex which is produced by emulsion polymerization of (1) each of (A) at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of ethylene-type monomers having at least a free carboxylic acid group, a free sulfonic acid group or a free phosphoric acid group or a salt thereof and (B) at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of monomers represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein X is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a --COOR.sup.1 group; Y is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a --(CH.sub.2).sub.n COOR.sup.2 group; Z is an aryl group, a --COOR.sup.3 group or a ##STR2## group; R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, which may be the same or different, each represents an aliphatic group or an aryl group; and n is an integer of 0 to 3, or (2) each of (A) at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of the ethylene type monomers described above, (B) at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of monomers represented by the general formula (I) above, and (C) at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of monofunctional or polyfunctional unsaturated monomers other than those monomers described in (A) and (B) above which are copolymerizable with the monomers described in (A) and (B) above and selected from the group consisting of acrylamides, methacrylamides, vinyl ethers, vinyl ketones, allyl compounds, olefins, vinyl heterocyclic compounds, unsaturated nitriles and polyfunctional monomers.

    摘要: A method for thermally forming images for plate making, which comprises forming an image for plate making by using a thermally processed image recording material comprising a silver salt of an organic acid, a reducing agent, a color image forming material and an organic binder on a support, wherein the image consists essentially of a developed silver image and a color forming dye image and the color forming dye image shows an absorbance for ultraviolet region higher than that for visible region and has a transmission density of 0.3 or more for the region of 360-450 nm. There are provided a thermally processed image recording material and method for thermally forming images that provide significant difference of ultraviolet absorption between image areas and non-image areas suitable for printing plate making.

    摘要: A method for forming an image which comprises imagewise-exposing a silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the emulsion layer or other hydrophilic colloid layer contains a hydrazine derivative as a nucleating agent and contains at least one compound represented by formula (A); and then developing the exposed photographic material with a developer having a pH of 9.0 to 11.0 which contains an ascorbic acid type developing agent and does not substantially contain a dihydroxybenzene type developing agent: ##STR1## wherein X represents a hydrogen atom, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, or a group represented by formula (B): ##STR2## wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may be the same or different, and each represents a hydrogen atom or a group other than a hydroxyl group.

    摘要: A method for forming an image comprising the steps of: (a) imagewise exposing silver halide photographic materials; where said photographic material contains (1) a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an aliphatic group or an aromatic group; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an amino group, a carbamoyl group, or an oxycarbonyl group; G.sub.1 represents a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, a sulfoxy group, ##STR2## or an iminomethylene group; and A.sub.1 and A.sub.2 both represent a hydrogen atom, or one of A.sub.1 or A.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom and the other represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkylsulfonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylsulfonyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted acyl group, and (2) a redox compound that can release a development inhibitor when oxidized; and (b) subjecting said imagewise exposed silver halide photographic materials to development-processing where a bath used in said development-processing contains a nucleation development accelerator.
