    摘要: A porous separator is provided with an electrochromic display for containing an electrolyte, whereby a display electrode is continuously, electrically rotated to a counter electrode through the electrolyte. A filter separator is further provided together with the porous separator for urging the porous separator toward the display electrode and itself toward the counter electrode because of the elastic characteristic thereof. The filter separator can also contain the electrolyte. The porous separator provides a white background for the display electrode. The remaining electrolyte, except for the electrolyte in both the porous and the filter separators, is eliminated from the electrochromic display to provide a cavity within the electrolyte for cancelling the cubic expansion of the electrolyte when temperature rises. This cubic expansion cancelling cavity may be formed by injecting a bubble into the electrolyte. The cavity is settled at a fixed position by the provision of an electrolyte-impregnated separator means without any interference with the display and counter electrodes.

    摘要: In an electrochromic display comprising a back plate electrode, a plurality of display electrodes, and a reference electrode available for maintaining the potential of the respective display electrodes at a fixed value, there is provided a detector for sensing the counter electromotive force which is developed between the display electrodes and the reference electrode in a manner such that there is created a remarkable difference in the output voltage signal thereof between in the colored state and in the bleached state. Therefore, the output signal from the detector indicates whether the electrochromic display is held in the colored state or the bleached state.

    摘要: A porous separator used for an electrochromic display cell is treated by lyophilic methods so as to be impregnated by an electrolyte. The lyophilic treatment makes it possible to assure that the electrolyte is well impregnated into the porous separator. An angle of contact between the porous film and the electrolyte is selected within an amount less than 20 degrees. A cavity is introduced into the electrochromic display cell, which does not contain the electrolyte therein for the absorption of the cubic expansion of the electrolyte.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a printed wiring board which does not require arranging signal lines oblique to the warp or weft threads constituting a substrate and is capable of reducing a difference in transmission rates between the signal lines. The present invention relates to a printed wiring board including: an insulating layer; and a signal layer including a set of at least two signal lines and disposed on one side of the insulating layer. A substrate is embedded inside the insulating layer in such a manner to be further from the signal layer than a center of the insulating layer in a thickness direction of the insulating layer is. The insulating layer has a laminated structure of a thick layer, the substrate, and a thin layer. A ratio of a thickness of the thick layer to a thickness of the thin layer is greater than five.

    摘要: An electric pump for supplying a hydrogen gas to a fuel cell includes a rotary shaft rotatably inserted through an electric motor, a transmitting member provided on one of an outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the electric motor so as to be rotatable therewith, and a groove formed in the other of the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the electric motor for the transmitting member to be inserted therein. The groove transmits a rotary torque of the electric motor to the rotary shaft by contacting an inner surface of the groove and the transmitting member and has an opening width along a rotary direction of the rotary shaft which is larger than the width of the transmitting member. The groove and the transmitting member produce an impact torque when the electric pump is started.
