摘要: A conference video display system is provided for allowing attendees at the conference to switch to the video images of their respective personal computers at will, and eliminating the need for determining the correlation between the personal computers and channels of a switching unit, to provide facilitated and appropriate video switching. The system has a switching unit for receiving a plurality of video signals and selectively outputting the received video signals, and a plurality of connection cables for connecting the switching unit and a plurality of personal computers. Each of the connection cables has a selection request switch near the personal computer connected thereto to make the switching unit select the video signal from the connected personal computer as an output video signal thereof.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a time domain reflectometer in which the system cost is low and the dynamic range is wide. In accordance with the present invention, an excitation light source for generating continuous light of a predetermined frequency (e. g., 1.48 .mu.m), and a ring laser part for generating a high power light pulse in accordance with the continuous light are provided. A light branch device is held in common by the ring laser part and a measurement part. The light branch device makes the light pulse which has been incident on one of its end parts to be incident on a light cable to be measured; and the light branch device also receives response light and supplies the response light to a light receptor in the measurement part. In the measurement part, the response light is converted to a corresponding electric signal and the signal is amplified to be supplied to a measurement circuit.

摘要: The invention is directed to an optical connector in which a length of an optical fiber 5 projects from a connection end surface (16) of a ferrule (1) is accurately set, a method of and a fixture for setting the projection length of the optical fiber. A recess surface (33) is formed in a ferrule receiving surface (32). A depth of the recess surface (33) is equal to a length an optical fiber (5) projects from the connection end surface (16) of the ferrule (1). The ferrule (1) is held by ferrule holding members (35a) and (35b), so that the ferrule (1) is abutted against the ferrule receiving surface (32) by the urging force of compression springs (36). Through the ferrule (1), an optical fiber cored line (3) is projected from the connection end surface (16) of the ferrule (1) and abutted against the recess surface (33). The optical fiber cored line (3) is held by a cored line holding member (41), the cored line holding member (41) is urged toward the ferrule receiving surface (32) by the urging force of compression springs (42), and a tip of the optical fiber (5) is brought into a pressure contact with the recess surface (33). In this condition, an adhesive agent is injected into an adhesive injecting hole (43) of the ferrule (1) so that the optical fiber (5) is fixedly bonded to the ferrule (1), thereby obtaining an optical connector in which the optical fiber (5) projects a predetermined length from the connection end surface (16) of the ferrule (1).

摘要: A developing roll is composed of a hollow nonmagnetic sleeve and a permanent magnet disposed therein and having a plurality of poles, the sleeve and the permanent magnet being independently rotatable in the same direction. The hollow nonmagnetic sleeve is rotatable at a constant speed. The permanent magnet is rotatable at varying speeds dependent on a signal indicative of a count value from a printing density counter means for supplying a developer from a developer tank. The printing density counter means successively counts print data to be developed.
