摘要: This invention provides a method for measuring an antigen concentration in a sample, which comprises: preparing VH-domain polypeptide and VL-domain polypeptide of an antibody specific to the antigen; labeling one of the polypeptides with a reporter molecule to form labeled polypeptides, and immobilizing the other polypeptide onto solid-phase to form immobilized polypeptides; contacting the antigen-containing sample and the labeled polypeptides with the solid-phase; and measuring the reporter molecule of the labeled polypeptides bound to the immobilized polypeptides. The present invention permits simpler and quicker sandwich ELISA for measurements of an antigen concentration in high sensitivity.

摘要: Prevention of deletion of data in an unintended recording layer of an optical disc is ensured even when servo deviation occurs while controlling data reproduction. A light source outputs a light beam with light intensity according to a driving current on which a high frequency signal is superimposed. The light beam is collected on a recording layer of an optical disc. As triggered by detection of servo deviation during data reproduction, a light intensity controller adjusts a superimposed amount of the high frequency signal in the driving current to suit to a specific recording layer with the lowest reproduction tolerance in the optical disc and thereby controls the light intensity of the light beam output from the light source.

摘要: A data-storage apparatus, a data-storage method and a recording/reproducing system are provided, which effectively use the time elapsing before data is transferred to be written in a recording medium, such as disc-seeking time and disc-rotation standby time, thereby to raise the speed of transferring data. A hybrid storage apparatus has two storage areas, i.e., a disc and a nonvolatile solid-state memory. The disc and the memory have a disc cache area, a system area, and a user area each. If data is transferred from the host apparatus, it is written into the cache area of the nonvolatile solid-state memory that can be accessed at high speed for the first super cluster. While the data being so written, the head is moved to a prescribed position. Any data coming after the head is moved to this position is written into the cache area.
