摘要: In a method of forming a fluorescent screen of a color picture tube by a dry process, the method comprises a first step of precoating an emulsion containing a powder of acryl resin on an inner surface of a face plate of the color picture tube to form a primary coating, a second step of coating on the primary coating a photosensitive composition consisting essentially of a diazonium salt to form a thin film, a third step of exposing to light a selected portion of the thin film to render the same to become adhesive, a fourth step of depositing a powder of a phosphor on the selected portion to form a phosphor layer of a first color and a fifth step of repeating the third and fourth steps to form phosphor layers of second and third colors.

摘要: The photosensitive resin which exhibits stickiness by photo-reaction is added with a binder which does not substantially raise dark reaction, and a resultant mixture is applied onto the inner surface of face panel of the color picture tube to form a film. Portion of the film where powdery material is going to be applied is exposed to light and rendered sticky. Phosphor powder, when used as the powdery material, is applied to the sticky portion and adhered thereto to form a fluorescent screen.

摘要: A photosensitive composition comprising (1) at least one diazonium compound selected from among salts and double salts of diazonium ions represented by the general formulas: ##STR1## wherein A stands for a substituent selected from among ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each stand for an alkyl or benzyl group with the proviso that the total number of carbon atoms of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is 8 to 16, and (2) at least one nitrate selected from the group consisting of calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate and a pattern forming process using such a composition.This composition gets sticky upon exposure to light.

摘要: In a phosphor screen of cathode ray tube produced by forming a lacquer film between phosphor layers and a metallic film, when the lacquer film is formed by using a composition comprising a resin component, an organic solvent and a plasticizer in an amount of about 12 to 60% by weight based on the weight of the resin component, the resulting phosphor screen is excellent in adhesive strength of the metallic film and can prevent color mixing and halation.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of producing a phosphor screen of color picture tube wherein a light absorbing material is applied onto the inner surface of a panel, a shadow mask is provided, the surface of film of the light absorbing material is scanned and irradiated with a laser beam via the shadow mask so that portions of the light absorbing material irradiated with the laser beam are heated and burned, thereby to form a black matrix. According to this method, the number of steps for forming the black matrix is decreased, and the quality and yield of the phosphor screen are increased.

摘要: In forming a fluorescent screen for a color picture tube having triads of phosphor materials of the three primary colors arranged in a predetermined pattern on the inner surface of a panel, a photosensitive film which exhibits stickiness when exposed to a threshold amount of light is formed on the inner surface of the panel. Locations of the photosensitive film where the three color phosphor materials respectively occupy are exposed to light from a light source through a shadow mask mounted to the panel. The amount of exposure light for a first color phosphor material is the threshold or above and that for second and third phosphor materials is below the threshold. After completion of the light exposures for the first to third color phosphor materials through the shadow mask, the shadow mask is dismounted from the panel and the first color phosphor material is deposited onto the photosensitive film. A first back exposure is then carried out and the second color phosphor material is deposited onto the photosensitive film. Thereafter, a second back exposure is carried out and the third color phosphor material is deposited onto the photosensitive film.

摘要: A process for forming a phosphor screen of a color picture tube comprising forming a thin layer using a photosensitive composition which contains an aromatic diazonium salt as a photosensitive component and produces tackiness by exposure to actinic light on the surface of the substrate and contacting the tackified thin layer after exposure to light with phosphor particles to form each phosphor layer for emitting color is improved by using as the phosphor particles those coated with at least one surface coating material selected from the group consisting of Zn(OH).sub.2, Zn.sub.3 (PO.sub.4).sub.2 and AlPO.sub.4 in shortening the contact time between the thin layer and the phosphor particles.

摘要: A light-transmitting layer is formed on a transparent glass panel, the light-transmitting layer having a larger refractive index than that of the glass panel, and a light-absorbing layer having a light-transmitting region is formed on the light-transmitting layer. The light reflected from the interface of the glass panel and the light-absorbing layer is effectively attenuated by the light-transmitting layer, so that it is possible to obtain an excellent image having a considerably strong contrast.
